I played a real life version of this in Barcelona. A Cypriot mate of mine was big on interactive games, and had created a ''The Shadow of the Wind' (set in BCN) version of Night of the Werewolves, which we played out around the streets where the novel took place, while he offered a narrative linking the literary and his fictional stories, and drinking copious amounts of Calimocho and gin.

With the new mayor in place attention turned towards the remaining order of business - picking which of the community to execute in the hope of catching a murderous villain. The voting was unanimous in favour of Steady. He protested his innocence but his pleas fell on deaf ears. The mob were out of for his blood and they would have it. Realising there was nothing he could do, he made his way to the gallows willingly. If this was to be the end, he'd go out with dignity. The noose was fitted around his neck and after what seemed an eternity, the trap gave way. With his lifeless body just hanging there, the mayor looked for evidence of his betrayal. There was nothing. The crowd fell silent. Steady was innocent. He had been framed by the real killers. Those conniving sons of bitches. Almost immediately the town-folk turned on each other. Accusations flying in every direction, suspicion mainly on Oaf - the most eager to execute Steady - and Leewilson - who had looked far too smug during the whole execution. The mayor stepped up to defuse the situation and eventually managed to convince his people to return home for the night, to reflect on the day's events and to prepare for another huge decision they'd have to face tomorrow.

I ran THREE games?!? Wut? I only remember one of them, I remember a London Underground theme or something. Someone got killed when a tunnel collapsed and Magic returned alone. Can't remember if it was because he was a killer, or whether the tunnel really did collapse.

There are 7 GameShow Marathon games remaining (possibly 8), although three of them will be over two nights I would have thought.

And to whoever suggested I might run a second version, absolutely no chance!

I have no idea what to really expect from something like this, wasn't even on TFF that long before it collapsed so when I first saw this thread I had no idea what anyone was on about at all

I think it's pretty good that we're going to have a lot of newbies to it. Some things kept happening every game (LordHatterDave for execution for example) that won't necessarily happen with a new group of players.

I loved picking on LHD every single game. People always seemed to fall for my outlandish accusations too.

I don't remember ever saying so, but there were about that many in my initial list. Many of them just wouldn't have worked on a forum, whilst others would have been a bit shit.

You definitely said at some point either 27/28 (can't remember which) when asked by someone how many games it consisted of. Can't be arsed to trawl through a couple of hundred pages though to pinpoint the post where you said so!!

I'll be unavailable from March 23rd til April 16th. By all means, don't go holding the entire game back just on my account. I mean, it'd be pretty shitty if it were to start on like the 15th and I'd miss it by a day, but I don't really want to go cocking it up for everybody. I guess we'll just have to wait and see when the game show marathon ends and what ever happens, happens.

I think I've already accepted that I'm either going to miss out on the end of the game show marathon or the start of NOTW unless I'm lucky. About the only way around it would be if the game show Marathon runs on longer than expected and the J5 get eliminated anyway... and while we are doing pretty great at that game at the moment, who knows where we'll end up if James keep screwing us over.

I won't hold it off just because your away but if it was looking like a 15th start then I'd push it back a couple of days. Still need to wait for Rammy to finish up before setting an actual date.
