Conference is probably his standard, although they really liked him at Colchester. If you get that Comley you've got a top player at this level. Get the Grimsby/Bolton Comley though and you're looking at a big standard 6/10 CM for this level.

I thought the current window was just a loan window?
I thought Comley was pretty decent for us and that was in League 2 so I would expect for him to be better than bog standard in this league.

Kings Lynn have signed Josh Coulson on loan for a month from us. Good guy, but slooooooow. If you give him a run of games he may improve, as he’s not played for us much recently. You need to play pace alongside him though or you’ll be vulnerable to balls in behind or over the top.
You are absolutely welcome to him. Another of Browns OAP masterstroke signings gone......................GOOD!

Looked like he hadn't played for a while on Saturday as was blowing from about 15 mins in but ended up lasting the whole game, played in a back three and, as you suggested, had two quicker lads either side to do his running but won most of the balls Weymouth lumped forward. So long as teams continue to do that against us I guess he will be OK - we have 7 games in February so he will either return to you fit as a butchers dog or we will break him for good.

You may be pleased to know that Josh set his first foot on a new career path last night.

When I looked across, he was on the mike providing summariser commentary for the BBC Radio Cambridgeshire coverage of our FA Youth Cup game against Forest.

He seemed to be in his element, subsequently meeting up with Harry Darling (also ex-youth team), Mark Bonner and a few of the first team lads for a catch up.

Sounds like he is performing better off the pitch than on it. Not surprised.

Mind you, KL have kept 2 clean sheets since he has gone there.

It's the third time we've had him on loan. First time he was very good, second time not so however he was part of a shocking team. Interesting to see how Sarll plays with him in the team.

Fela played in the same kids team as my son, he went to Arsenal and mine to Chelsea. I am surprised that he stayed at Arsenal for so long and is probably coming down to his right level now. Dapo Afolayan, now of Bolton, was in the same side too.

We’ve signed Jordan Ngalo, from AFC Totton, ex Weymouth. Any Weymouth fans on here know if he’s any good?
Jordan was excellent for us at Southern Prem and NLS level, but let go by the new management after Mark Molesley left for Southend. MM picked him up from an FE College Portsmouth way, and obviously still rates him. I'd say Jordan's weak spot was a lack of self-belief. I was behind the goal at Hendon when he scored a tremendous thirty-yarder into the top corner which got us three points and so, you could say, the Southern Prem championship. Trouble is , he just doesn't trust himself to do that sort of thing often enough. He's as broad as he is tall, which means he's maybe not the most mobile, but lacks nothing in guts and effort, so maybe just trust in MM's judgement for now and see how it works out? He's also a very quiet lad who just gets on with it, and I'll be interested to see how he does for you at this level.

As Chief Rocka says he hadn't played much. Was a mixed bag when he did like. Sometimes was effective off the bench but on the once twice we started him, he looked out of his depth. I'd have kept him tbh as we are starting to change the system up and he might've got a look in at that point as a back up. Obviously not rated by the manager.

Bernard Mensah gone out on loan to Redditch for a month. When he originally signed for us we had the usual "he'll tear that divison up/far too good" stuff. Sadly in reality he's been mostly garbage. Hopefully this will sort him out to get some fitness and form, Redditch's description of him being "pacey" brought a giggle mind going by his recent displays for us.

He was excellent for Aldershot a few years back, but was useless when he came out on loan to Maidenhead a couple of years ago. Just so lazy and uninterested.

What a fall from grace. Was incredible for us, I genuinely believe if he’d have stayed in January 2018 (rather than going to Bristol Rovers) we’d have gone up that season. Really thought he’d have had a decent career in the football league, sad to see

Sorry to say it . But he was one of the worst ever players that have ever graced our pitch. He came on as a substitute and literally ran everywhere. Well everywhere except where the ball was. He did'nt seem to have a clue what was expected of him as a footballer.

Mensah looked out of his depth here on a short loan in our first season back in L2 from what I recall.

Stockport County.
Luca Ashby-Hammond on a short term loan after our number 2 Ethan Ross got sent off and picked up an injury too.

His brother is on loan at Boreham Wood, also a goalkeeper, also from Fulham.

Not seen us really so can't comment on his spell this time. Was our top scorer after coming in last season, but that's not difficult when you have Matt Green in the side!

Probably not good enough for this level anymore and injuries catching up with him. We have better in Taylor and recently signed Abrahams who seems more of the same. Loan might do him good, our problem is scoring goals and LJL isn't the answer for that.

Packed with moments from this season that! He's been absolutely dire this season. Worse than Green was last season. I liked him the first time round, you don't need to convince me of that. Just about did a job last season in L2, but he's been atrocious down here.

Aye, he’s been shite, meant to be a hold up man but it just cannons off him.

I still can’t get my head round how many of our fans love a player so much despite the fact he’s missed absolute sitters well into the double figures whilst with us

In a very Alty-esque move, Jordan Hulme has signed on loan.

Personally I would not have him near the place after he signed a contract last season, and proceeded to fuck off to Fylde literally the day before the season started.

I hate the re-signing of old players, always ends up being slightly shit. Or they were players you never liked anyway.

Ugh, hope I'm proved wrong
Now goalless in 7 games. When did he last score for you Fyldefan? Was it the FA cup game against us in 2020?
