Yet Stockton had shown he was capable at a young age of scoring in L1, so also good enough for that level.

Lewis Nightingale has left Farsley Celtic to take up a role with Premier League Everton to join their youth coaching set-up. I was very disappointed last summer when we signed him and then let him go back to Farsley! He was unlucky at the time, because Josh Gillies became available at Gateshead. So as they say no room at the inn!
I watched Lewis play in the summer friendlies last year, I thought he was pretty nifty and quite skilful.

Meant in terms of signing new players, rather than the u18 team of last season! Although Widdowson is older than I thought he was. The squad is threadbare looking at it properly. Hopefully can get bolstered a bit so there's less reliance on the kids, even though they showed promise at the end of the season. Good start though.

Yeah, we probably need another six or seven bodies in through the door and then see how the kids get on. With Lawless arriving, this squad now looks like finishing 24th on goal difference to me.

He won't set the world alight, but is an average defender at this level, and his versatility makes him a useful squad member. He wasn't our first choice centre back but had to play a lot at right back as we had no-one else to play there for most of the season and didn't look too uncomfortable.

Interesting to see that your home shirt is exactly the same as our away kit for this year. The joys of getting a standard nike £17 teamwear design.

We've signed Elliot Rokka from Radcliffe Borough. Scored 16 goals and got EvoStick Young Player of the Year award last season. He's been on trial for a few weeks and has impressed Mellon enough to secure a deal.

Don't know much about him but apparently used to play for Macclesfield after being released by Man United's academy?

Very good signing for you can see him having a brilliant season as a guarenteed starter. Definitely played his part in our success last season and when he first arrived a couple of years ago he was our best player for spells in my opinion.
