......Long answer: he's decent enough technically but completely one-paced so it's extremely rare to see him skin a full back. He didn't even look quick in non-league, his pace (or lack thereof) is extremely noticeable at this level. Good penalty taker. Very loyal, works hard. Versatile, .............. His best position is left mid. He can do a job at left back but is not a long term solution there. .................... That said, he's a very useful sub to have due to his versatility.
Sounds like the basis for an effective partnership with H Dunk at left back. I'll now be disappointed if it isn't confirmed this morning. More evidence of a classic Money team/squad emerging? Bullishness rising again.

15 out...

Currently on trial we have Frazer Shaw (Dulwich Hamlet) and Connor Essam (Dover Athletic) both of whom look likely to sign when Lowry buggers off. Both signed.

Jack Payne (Peterborough United) was also on trial, seems there's a stumbling block over the fee, he has been strongly linked with Doncaster today. Probably won't sign.

Squad is light, but we seem to be downsizing a fair bit. Which is gutting seeing as last season we had loads of money pissed up the wall (Dossena was in £22,000 p/w it's been revealed). Now imagine that extra £22,000 a week spent with some sort of actual non fuckery of a contract. That's 11 top League Two players...

Sigh.

Oh, as I type this Nathan Clarke leaves the club.

Fuck this shit.

£22,000 per week in League One?!?!?! Christ almighty, it's a wonder you even have a club still with spending like that. That's not far off 15x what our top earners were on last season!!!

I've updated our list with possible squad numbers based on photos from the Bradford friendly and from the training session at Cassius Camps. It was the first friendly we'd played in our new kits and with players names on the back, so I think there's a decent chance it shows what the squad numbers will be this season, the players seem to have the same numbers on their training kits at Cassius Camps too so I figured I could use that to fill in the gaps.

Thanks... I'll update.

Good to see the traditional sub goalie 13 is back. It's been 20 for ages now, and I was starting to wonder if we'd retired the #13 shirt in honour of Francois Zoko... knowing Dan Hanford he'll have probably insisted on having #13

I quite like McQueen 44... sounds like a fashion label, like CR7
