Yeah but the second half we only lost 4 - 1 as opposed to 4 - 0 in the first half so at least an improvement was shown.
I remember when we pulled it back to 4 - 1 just after half time i genuinely thought we were gonna come back into it!

If you hadn't come out and tried I think it would have stayed 4 0 ....you frightened the life out of us with that goal ....just one of those nights ...finally I have someone to talk to about the cold wind blowing in off the North Sea ...its a chuffin nuisance

We were awesome that season!

I remember one Sunday we were at Oldham and i really fancied the draw for some reason so i had us in my acca, by half time we were 5 - 0 down so suffice to say i didn't win! (finished 6 - 0).

Despite lots of hammerings though we still went into the final day knowing a win at Tranmere would keep us up and if Chesterfield didn't win then we were safe no matter what. Half time we were 1 - 0 up before capitulating second half to lose 2 - 1 before Chesterfield hit an 88th minute winner in their game to send us down, which wasn't one of my happiest days.

Well you're back now , and let's face it , one of the better supported clubs ....I know your fans will waffle on about consolidation , but I fully expect you to be up there , mind you after Pools last 3 seasons , there's a lot of "up there" from our perspective
