Very possible. This Argentina side is the worst Argentina in my lifetime. Even worse than the 2010 Argentina in my opinion.

Its not even the first time these qualifiers that Argentina have lost at home.

Yes mate but apparently Paraguay are worse.

Reckon you'll give Brazil a game?

Paraguay were doing well but we just smashed them. I said for months that Paraguay is better but there can't really be an argument after that. We're a much better team than them.

Yes I do and if we win I'll begin believing in World Cup Qualification as we are only 3 points behind the qualification zone.

Looks like we're having a bit of a transition in the conmebol. Brazil are not the force they once were and Uruguay without Suarez are not that better than unfancied sides like Peru and Venezuela. Even Colombia seem to have lost their edge.
The WC2018 qualifiers promises to be tighter than ever.

I want Chile to win because they're the hosts and have never won anything.

I just read the Copa America thread and saw this, not a crazy prediction as the WCQ are always tight but this time around its tighter than ever. Well don MM ;)

Anyways I'm looking forward to tomorrow, I think we can win. If we do we are definitely back in the race for Russia and serious contenders.

Paraguay have just sent out the weirdest lineup I could possibly imagine. Its like they're asking to lose and not go to the World Cup.

As for Bolivia, nice to see Chumacero back. He's a joy to watch for them. I'm convinced he'd be playing in a bigger league if he wasn't Bolivian.

I can see a draw there or a Colombia win. Argentina under Bauza are a joke.

When Argentina came here to Lima, we ran rings around them so much that the 2-2 was probably one of our worst results this campaign

Aye they are struggling like fuck just now, and seem to have no direction or style. It wouldn't surprise me for another poor result in this one either.

Its not just Bauza though, there are so many political issues within AFA right now. There are rumours that Messi and Mascherano chooses who plays for Argentina and the manager has to ask them for potential call ups. If Messi say no, they aren't allowed to call them up. We don't know if its true but a lot of Argentinians have said that this is one of the issues.

Bauza to me is the biggest part of the equation, but what can you do when he's the only manager with any sort of CV that wants to work for Argentina. Everyone else said no.

Anyhow, Bolivia wins 1-0 and Paraguay are unlikely to qualify now. Have some very tough games coming up, although they are in a transition. They'll qualify for the next World Cup should they get the right coach. Chiqui isn't that man, joke of a manager.

Simple, drop Messi.

It's not like Argentina are short of attacking talent.

Argentina need a second plan. At the moment they are so overeliant on Messi. Having a bad win to loss ratio without him, if Messi is what is affecting this team with him only wanting his friends called up, then I agree he needs to go, and then they need to rebuild.

Franco Armani is an example of a keeper that should of been called up a long time ago, but they insist on Sergio Romero and Andujar. Because they're Messi's friends.

There is a huge debate on this rumour. No one really knows whats going on in the dressing room but pundits have even reported this and with the same call ups time and time again, its believeable.

Aren't they pretty good at home due to the conditions played in?

Bolivia don't have a great home record and are the only South American team that is far below the rest but regardless of their record, it is extremely difficult to win in Bolivia. The sun rays are strong in this part of the world and you have to play 3600 metres above sea level in the middle in the day with the sun.

Argentina lost 6-1 to Bolivia in the 2010 qualifiers due to a lack of preparation on Maradona's part. That tells you all you need to know.

What a good counter attacking team Ecuador is. However, when they attack regularly, they are so predictable. They've made the same play over and over again. I wasn't impressed with them today.

3-0 currently with 5 minutes left.

Higuain is out for this one. Aguero I'm not too sure but he's no loss really. He's terrible in an Argentina shirt.

So many weak links in this team. Mas, Biglia, Mascherano, and Funes Mori. Mercado and Messi being the 2 best.

Indeed on Aguero, I was meaning it was an indictment of his performance in an Argentina shirt that he's not included. He bottles it when playing for the national side, as does Aguero and Di Maria tbh.
