The hot weather's been a pain in the arse meaning I've had to postpone loads of runs. Currently on Week 4 Run 3 and finding it a struggle but no pain no gain!

I don't know about "couch to 5k" but on the very rare occasion that I indulge in a joint or two it feels like 5k to the couch.

I'm here all week.

I’m going to try this I think. I’ve developed quite a beer belly over the last couple of years and it’s pretty horrific to look at now..

I need to start eating the right foods aswell instead of just snacking on shit whilst at work.

I'd definitely recommend it. I never thought I'd run for more than 60 seconds let alone the 2x8 minutes I did last night.

Well, After saying I’d sort myself out in August I started and gave up early doors.

Decided over Christmas I’m going to give it a good go this year, Got a few holidays booked in the Summer and generally started to feel abit angry with how I was getting, Going out and looking 8 months pregnant really isn’t a good look for a 25 year old male.

Cut out all eating shit all the time like Crisps and the likes and sorted out what I take to work. Had beef stew every weeknight for the last 2 1/2 weeks now. Main thing for me is giving beer the knock on the head in the week as I’ll not be sacrificing my Saturday’s but so far so good bar a pint after playing football last Thursday evening.

Running for 30 minutes an evening aswell now, Finally starting to see change in myself and last night I managed to do 5k in that time which was my first goal and I thought it would take a few weeks longer to get too.

Lost 7 pounds so far and now, Really enjoying it so hopefully I stick with it. Might get some birds on holiday this year in that case

I've become single since I started Couch to 5k (not as a result of) so this is my new aim!

Courtesy & decency halts me from commenting upon any possible reason....considering what is occurring in Fishy's 'Caption Contest' thread...Ahem!......:hypo:

I gave my finger some much needed exercise in downloading the app... err, a few weeks ago. Not done anything since and probably won't for the foreseeable with the World Cup now on. DETERMINED (well insofar as a lazy sod like me is ever determined) to actually get off my arse and do it at some point this year though.

Yeah, I've still not done this...

Feel free to speculate all you wish.

Looking to get back into the running soon. Went for a run last week and it almost killed me so I'm definitely back to being incredibly unfit again.

Yeah, I've still not done this...

I also downloaded it last week.

I'll be hopefully starting w/c 4th Feb. I would have started this week but it would mean week 2 would be in southern Czech running in potentially -12c around an area I'm not too familiar with so I held off!

Being consistent with C25K has been great for me, I haven't lot a ton of weight, given I was at a good weight, but my endurance has increased immensely.

Any of you done this before? I'm just starting it again as I've never got past the first week. Determined to be able to run a 5k by the end of it without having to take breaks or walk for the majority. Eyeing up doing a few parkruns before the end of the year.
Well, that is a very optimistic target. I would suggest you chunk into a smaller 1K mini-target. Something like Couch - 1K - 2K- 3K--5K! Then you rinse and repeat.
