Coutinho or Barkley.

Who would you sooner have in your lineup?

I thought the breaking news bit made it painfully obvious - I'll have to account for your eyesight in future jibes.

Make the capital letters bold next time I reckon.

Ah these threads are so much clearer to read when you have people ignored who constantly mess them up...

Coutinho easily. As unlike Ross Barkley he doesn't make striking the ball look ridiculously more complicated than it actually is. He just does the business with no fuss or flash-ness.

After striking the ball, Barkley swings his leg in such a deliberately overly dramatic "look at me" fashion for no great reason. He takes a corner or free kick and then for some bizarre reason takes a couple of little steps backwards after kicking the ball, almost seemingly admiring what he has just done or something.

Unlike Barkley? Let's be real here boys, neither are particularly consistent so picking on one of them in this respect is a little nonsensical.

There are, and if our mate G is one it'd be the feathery sort.

Yeah, it's starting to get annoying. He seemed to have improved that part of his game at the end of last year but it's back to square one now.

Bar his shooting, he doesn't seem to have really improved as a player since joining us. He still comes up with the odd brilliant performance but it's sandwiched in between average/okay performances. It's a shame though as he's really talented, let's hope Klopp brings it out of him.

I think he'd be better off on the left personally, as a sort of inside forward. He did really well playing there early on during Brandans reign. His quick feet and trickery are his greatest asset but he doesn't have the intelligence or range of passing to be the main creative force in a team and wont be able to isolate a defender playing as a number 10, which is what I'd want him doing. It's too easy to bully him when he plays in the middle. He's had the same issues playing centrally throughout his career though, never been able to dictate and dominate games as a playmaker and that's why Inter (who also had huge hopes for him as their main playmaker) let him go. The odd longe range goal doesn't mask his glaring deficiencies as a number 10 imo, though most Liverpool fans seem happy enough with a brace every 10 games. If a club comes in with good money this summer, and it looks likely, I think you should sell. Firmino is the future in your attacking midfield role and has shown far, far more ability (and actually gotten results) than Coutinho throughout his career at a similar age.

Firmino's been shockingly poor so far though. Just seems to constantly give the ball away.

He hasn't been good, admittedly. Though he's mainly been used on the right or up front for whatever reason. Once he's settled in I'd like to think he can get playing centrally and show some of the outstanding form he had at Hoffenheim.
