Well, after two games we couldn't be in a better position. Conceded 0 and scored 6 against the two relegated sides. Crewe however have been poor (apparently) scoring 0 and conceding 2.

So you just know that we're gonna lose. It's just an us thing to do. I fucking hate Crewe and I'm sick of them turning us over at the Ricoh.

Team:

Burge

Willis Ricketts Johnson Stokes

VIncelot Fleck

JOB Maddison Lameiras

Armstrong

Wouldn't surprise me to see Reda rested for Martin who played well against Rochdale but it's hard to change a side that's just played so well.

Never write off Crewe when playing Coventry. Even if Crewe are in dismal form and lost there previous game 5-0 they always find a way to win against us. I think last year you were bottom of the league with about 2 points when we lost to you, it kick started your good run leading into winter time which ultimately was a major reason you survived last year.

Crewe 13/5 draw no bet. Very tempted to put some decent money on that so I won't leave the match in a bad mood Tuesday.

I will never feel confident of beating Crewe, they have turned us over so many times.
It's so hard to beat your ultimate bogey team, so I'll go for a 1-1 draw, which at last will give us a point against them

3-0 Cov. I can't see us winning a game or scoring a goal all season with this clueless manager in charge.

When the fixtures came out and we had two of the relegated Championship clubs up first I thought what a difficult start then next up came bloody Crewe ,and I thought it couldn't get any worse so if we can stay undefeated in the first three I'll be a very happy Cov fan.
Have we ever beaten Crewe at home ?

Zero chance of us winning this. Bought my train tickets last month, but got no intention of going.

If we make changes(i.e. get LDV off the wing and get Cooper and/or Colclough in the team for a start), then I might have a bit of optimism. If however, we likely keep it mostly the same, we'll lose. Armstrong, like Madden yesterday, will have a field day.

If we make changes, like getting LDV off the wing and into the middle and Cooper/Colclough in the team, then we might have a chance. If we keep it the same as I reckon Davis will, we'll lose. Armstrong will have a field day. Have him as first goalscorer.

If Crewe don't get something from this, then you really know they're fucked. They always beat Coventry.

Got a feeling Crewe will come and park the bus (nothing wrong with that, it's about results), and maybe pick us off on the break. Teams we have played so far have come at us, so it will be a different challenge. Could be one of those nights. Still, I don't buy into this bogey side stuff, and on current form I would be very disappointed if we were to lose this.

I think you're going to be shocked by just how terrible Crewe are.

They were terrible last year and they still beat us, last year going into our game Crewe had 4 points from the first 12 matches of the season and still beat us.

If Crewe dont win this then surely they are down? Vale and Coventry are there guaranteed 9-12 points a season which is practically 1/5th of their points haul in the past two seasons so to be 4-5 points down on that after game 3 would surely be the nail in the coffin!

You Vale fans still here, we're not even your rivals, you care so little about us you'd prefer to beat Inverness than us. We get it. No need to keep reminding us.

I'm so disinterested. Winning wouldn't bring any joy or excitement, just a stay of execution for the tedious crap. I expect that Armstrong kid will be laughing at our streak of piss defence too.

The way I see it, if we win then we get a load of soundbites how our 'dear leader' got it tactically spot on, how he deserves all the credit for picking the right team and how he doesn't understand why a large part of the fanbase is always against him on social media because he always gets it right in the end. This is that nightmare scenario where Davis will get more time to save us from our inevitable doom under him. Now I want Crewe to win every game but I, and other fans, are caught in this catch 22 situation here. Win and Davis' reign of terror will probably be extended but lose, we'll probably be bottom but social media will be calling for his head and the board will genuinely have to act because more and more people are favouring the "Davis Out" side of the argument about 18 months too late.

If we lose, we don't expect to hear our dear leader to take any responsibility whatsoever. It's not his fault we can't defend or can't score but apart from that our football is perfect in his eyes. He'll also question why those nasty horrible fans are demanding his sacking 2 years after he won the JPT and 3 years after he single-handedly in his eyes won us promotion, after being put through another game where Crewe have offered no attacking outlet, witnessing a languid display from the isolated lone forward Marcus Haber, the lack of two natural wingers and yet another Jon Guthrie error which allowed Armstrong to grab his fourth goal of the evening 20 minutes from time.

If we draw it's obvious it'll be a no score draw and Coventry 31-0 Crewe on the shot count, which means Mowbray will need to get his boys in for target practice first thing Wednesday Morning.
