Can we agree on a draw?

Wasn't until I read the preview on Sky Sports that I knew we have the second highest number of clean sheets away from home this season. Doesn't feel like that.

Sounds as though Bostwick is available after having his red card rescinded. Wharton went off on Saturday due to an elbow to the face so I imagine he's a doubt, Frecklington is struggling with a bad back but seems to be playing on and Rowe hasn't been seen after a kick on his ankle against Port Vale two games ago.

Palmer's probably pushing for a start although he's an impact sub IMO.

Coventry's second half performance at our place is the still the best of the season from an away side at SB.

We're expecting about 3,000 to travel, which a 1,000 down on the original fixture but is still a decent effort midweek.

Looking at remaining fixtures, a Lincoln win is the worst result for Mansfield. They'd probably prefer a Coventry win with us having Accrington next.

It sounds like we're struggling a bit with injuries. If we can 'Wycombe' a point I'll be a happy man.

Our last hope this one, If we’ve got any left. Coventry win and Lincoln to lose Saturday and we’ll still go and get turned over by Yeovil

Our line-up tonight. Must be 7 players over 6ft in there, if we don't score from a set piece I'll be astonished. #landofthegiants #darkheartedandcynical

Sounds like a good goal from the big man and seems we are all over them. Need another to be a bit more comfortable.

imo if you score within 1 minute you should be given the win.

Hard to say what’s been more embarrassing, our performance or Lincoln’s “gamesmanship”

Not this again. Just accept it's part and parcel. Not like we've come to Cov playing for 0-0 from the kick off like Wycombe. We've just wanted it more and we've smashed 4 past you on your own patch sunshine.

Again, got to hand my congratulations over to Lincoln and their fans. a critic of their play and their forwards, you’ve achieved what’s should be the minimum requirement for us which we’ve failed. Man enough to criticise, man enough to doff my cap and say well done done.

Class, Adam.

I know we might take the piss and I occasionally go a bit too far but the Cowleys are able to get that bit extra out of the players, including those deemed surplus to requirements by other clubs (cough...Mansfield...cough). Each season other teams' fans tell us our players arent good enough but bloody hell, we are almost certainly in the playoffs with a strike force of Matt Green, Matt Rhead and Ollie Palmer. Bonkers...I mean, decent for the Conference, but Football League, you're havin a larf!
Anyway, I might have drunk a bit of wine so I'll try not to get too carried away but it's a good time to be a Lincoln fan, after a long period of shit.

Solid defensive performance from the leagues two best defences!

Not surprised we shipped two goals with a back four that have never played together. Our only LB injured so a RB and LB (Eardley can play there but he creates lots from the right hand side), and a CB who hasn’t played for two months at RB despite having a RB the bench.

I think we’ve managed to get all three of our strikers into double figures for the season now.

All if and buts but that bit of a slow start has cost us a good crack at the autos, which is a shame.

Where did I say we didn’t deserve to lose or that you didn’t want it more? We were a fucking shambles and you bossed us but it’s a completely seperate point. You’d have beaten us without Matt Rhead sitting on his arse pretending to be injured on four seperate occasions during the game.

Just the 6 yellow cards for Lincoln then. As if that wasn't bad enough, the first booking was as late as the 63rd minute :ohm:

That dink for Freck's goal was pretty pinpoint as well. I do wish he wouldn't do so much of the playacting as he's a bloody skilful player.

I fucking hate League 2 I really do.

At least League 1 was relatively good fun with some good away days.

We're going to fail with getting promoted. The club will always be a failure.

A semi-bizarre comment from Robins - "...they have scored goals where they have lumped it forward..."

That's true to a point, but the first goal was from KO, which usually get 'lumped' forward anyway, although it was good, intricate play down the right so that one wasn't lumped.

The second was from a GK, which, again, get 'lumped' forward anyway.

The third was from a second phase of a poor corner, which, again, get 'put back in the mixer' anyway.

The fourth was a cracking through ball from Woodyard into space and a good 'dink' from Rhead for Freck.

Firstly, Lincoln fans were class. 3000 on a midweek. Probably a record away midweek here barring Wolves/Birmingham. Great noise too.

Not a fan of Lincoln's timewasting but their defence was bang on. Our defence however wasa shambles. Apparently, we should have had a penalty right before their fourth?

Rhead had it so easy. I would drop Haynes out of the team and play Davies ahead of McDonald.

Still in our hands though. A win Saturday will nearly see us over the line.

What has happened to Coventry's defence this month????
We aren't known for scoring goals especially away from home.

Pity some Coventry 'fans' felt the need to smash up cars belonging to Lincoln fans.

That is what is so annoying about lincoln, I wish they could make their mind up about being physical or pansies they can`t be both.
In fairness Matt Rhead has been a conman ever since his Kidsgrove days( I put it down to him being a Stoke fan)
