Rotherham looked really impressive in the highlights from Saturday. Knife through butter stuff. No shame in losing to Fleetwood this year so they could be right amongst it.

Well they weren't for a start,

2 of our back 5 joined in January and 1 of those was injured for a long period.
2 more were new signings this season.

In midfield our best 2 midfielders weren't fit all season, the other 2 are new signings.

Whole new attack.

So in short, it's not the same team.

Gutted to lose to a comedy goal like that so undeserved imo i thought both teams played well with a draw probably been a fair result.

Was impressed with the attacking display from both teams, thought we both look like we could score at anytime with Edwards and Marriot looking very dangerous for Peterborough.

Peterborough will be top 6 im certain if they can keep Marriot a full season he looks absolute lethal in the box a bit similar to Le Fondre for us a few years ago.

As for us we need to cut out them silly mistakes at the back and we'll be ok with the attacking players and we also need to stop that awful away record as well without a win since April 2016, once we sort that im confident we'll have a decent season.

Charlton and Portsmouth the next 2 league games we haven't had it easy to start with.

Generally agree with above, it most definitely wasn't a game for defences. We finally took Lopes off and that's when we started playing with 11 men, Rotherham targeted his side the second half and he got absolutely mullered.

Rotherham looked good going forward and they put a lot of bodies in the box. They dominated the midfield and our goal led a charmed life in the first half.

Marriott and Taylor have been two excellent signings this season but if Mccann wants to play with wing backs he has to go and buy some wing backs. If he persists with midfielders at wing back someone is going to tonk us.

Unfortunately for SERNWA there wasn't 8 million away fans although there was a poor turnout of home fans. Joe Newell also won't get my nomination for the Balloon D'or and Rotherham weren't the Real Madrid of Yorkshire I was expecting.

Thought Newell played well though tbf, definitely showed why he's one of the top left mids in the league at times yesterday, shame about that miss hit shot around the 85th min though, that was the only thing he got wrong all game near enough.
