Hi guys, I'm Italian, I'm an AS Roma supporter since I was born. I'm going to London the first weekend of February. I've never been in English stadium built for football, so I definitely want to go and watch a football match. The options are Chelsea v Manchester United, but the cheapest ticket is around 300£ I think, and that's too much, then Spurs v Watford, and the ticket is 80£, the last three are Fulham v Derby County, QPR v Ipswich and the Brentford match. So I opted for the Fulham match or the QPR one, now I have to choose. Any suggestion? And maybe if you could also explain why :)

You'll be disappointed with the atmosphere at both.

Mmm okay, and what about the seat? The stadium we have in Rome is not built for football, so it would be a dream to see a match in the first row, but I think that you can't enjoy the football match, I mean it's not the best view.

Fulham are one of the top scorers in the division. They could get 4 or 5, so if you want goals that's the game to go to.

Subtle pessimism.

So for a first experience do you suggest to get first row tickets? The only problems I think are the stewards in front of you and the rain..

To be fair you could try the away end at Fulham...

Away end it's full I think

P.S. I can't post the link but I checked on eticketing and away end it's full
The allocation will be increased though and chances are it'll be on general sale.

Standing on the terrace behind the goal at Griffin Park is always an option. We seem to get a lot of foreign tourists doing that these days.

By foreign do you mean the other side of Bedfont?

We're taking 3000 to QPR so likely to be a decent atmosphere

If you want atmosphere at QPR, then Q, P upper or R block are the vocal section. Or, go X block and you will hear the away fans.

Craven cottage every time for me. Decent allocation, nice ground and decent pubs in all direction. Prefer to booze in Hammersmith, but towards Putney is also decent. Loftus road is a bit of a dump in my opinion.

We're on to our 2nd allocation, taking us up to 3800. I don't think they will all go but should be around 3,500 of us, so should be a half decent atmosphere.

Craven Cottage is undoubtedly the better ground.
The R's need to find a better site where they can build a 30,000 plus arena.
Shame the White City got demolished...would've been the perfect answer-could've been re-developed into a cracking modern facility.
BBC got there first though.

There's a massive shopping centre a few hundred yards up the road as well that is massive, new build as well.

Yeh,I've been in it.
Not sure what the relevance is to footy though.

Just food for thought elaborating on your point of places around White City where QPR could have put a new build stadium.

Fair enough.
Like I said above, the White City stadium would've been a great potential site for them to redevelop but it looks like they'll have to head north or west now.

Car Giant (massive sponsors of QPR in the past) have done the dirty on them and aren't including a proposed stadium in the new development in Old Oak Common. I really think they've run out of options now in the vicinity of Shepherds Bush.

Craven Cottage is a cracking day. Loads of great boozers nearby.

Have great memories of our win there in the PL back in 2006 - took 5,000+ there and the place was rocking.

My limited knowledge of this is the total opposite. We are proposing that they get relocated, as our plans were to build on some of the land owned by Car Giant. The discussion is still on going and I think Car Giant are trying to get a better deal.

The regeneration of Old Oak common is still in discussion and we are still hopeful that we can get the government backing to build a new stadium here.

Back when Westfield was made, we did not have the money to even think about this which is why we missed the boat on that bit of land.
