Criticise the team when they play badly and don't put the effort in, but for fucks sake at least acknowledge when we've seen a good performance and a great game of football. I can't fault yesterday - Wigan are a strong side and considering everyone here thought we'd get trounced, the reality is that we came out with a deserved and well earned point.

It won't fix the mess we're already in, and I still want wholesale changes at Crewe, but fucking hell the slit-wrists brigade on here are depressing. I'm not someone who claps along regardless, but I will defend the team when they put in a genuinely good performance and the two teams give us something that was well worth the entrance fee.

Yeh,agree with that.
We know we have some fundamental problems at the club but no matter what the team does there are some who will just complain regardless.
I totally sympathise with them and get their gripes but when we get a decent result let's atleast be a little bit pleased.

You've taken a bit of a leap to go from fans not getting giddy over a draw with bleeding Wigan to fans hating the club.

The fact I'm not beside myself that the players ran a little more than usual is because I'm desperate for this club to pull itself out of the complacent, shit dump of a situation it finds itself in. Saying this has little effect on my "support" for the team, not getting overexcited at every single point won isn't failing to support the team, it's failing to fall into some shitty caricature of a football fan you and others have in your mind. The same is pulled out when some have said they are falling out of love with the club, only to receive a "good riddance" response from holier than thou knobs like yourself.

And the performance wasn't even that good.
