Saunders' selection process is becoming increasingly muddled. Two full debuts up front in what presumably is a new formation with our most consistent defender dropped.

We are, so can you please beat us so our manager leaves. Not liking this 1-1 at all.

The bloke is completely out of his depth, he doesn't have a clue. I feel sorry for him. There's not a chance he can take us forward and I can't see him lasting much longer.

Well Saunders' gamble seems to've paid off.

A side cobbled together from crocks, kids from Ilkeston Town and Wednesday's development squad (honestly, it's true!), others considered L2 standard at best and with a proven performer benched has bought him a week's grace at least.

And who knows; maybe we've done our Crewe friends a favour if this defeat helps bring an end to their pain.

Infact could they have the last laugh ? Could their Board act to save their season whilst rare wins like this see our's prevaricate?

Funny how football can sometimes work out, isn't it...

Those rare wins have kept Davis in a job for 3 seasons in a row.

Can Len ever go on Praise & Grumble without mentioning the fact he sits with Dario?

Davis must be on the brink now. Maybe 1 more defeat.. Who replaces him though?

Just heard his interview. He says he was very positive with the players after. He sounds a defeated man.

There are some right wierdos in the Crewe end that still back Davis.

I don't think I've ever disliked the club more than I do now. I actually do not give a shit when we score. Davis is serving up some of the worst football I've seen and talks out of his arse. The club talk out of their arse (particularly the "unlucky" arse who writes the twitter feed). Neil Baker talks the same absolute nonsense as Davis. John Bowler always has talked out of his arse but then he only ever appears in the good times. I can only presume James Collins will follow suit is talking absolute stinking horseshit.

The players meanwhile are wank. Haber is terrible and, no people, he is not "good in the air". Turton is a joke. Colclough actually isn't quite the saviour. I don't think any other L1 club would take a second glance at 90% of our players. They're shit. Ben Garratt, however, remains free from criticism.

Davis should go. Baker should go. Collins should not be our next manager.

Not sure what point I'm making other than I hate them all. Mostly Davis, Haber and Turton. But not Garratt.

The club is actually taking the reeking piss out of fans with what they tell us, Davis' interview sums it up. We just sit and take it.

A win is a win so......yay!

But our transformation into a full on hoofball team now looks to be complete *shudders*.

Started OK, got the early lead, seemed comfortable as Crewe looked pretty poor in all honesty and then out of nowhere they score, we shit ourselves and we're glad to get in at half-time as they finish the half on top. Second half was pretty uneventful apart from the goal and for a change, not much drama at the end. Crewe look in real trouble if that game is anything to go by, though not convinced we'll be too far above them in the final table at this stage.

Chesterfield are in trouble. Any other team would have beat you, the fact you let us back in it and we were in it until the end should worry you.

We'll both go down.

Whilst we may be hamstrung by a seemingly blinkered manager I'm pretty sure we have several players better than any of yours.

Davis interview was a joke. He was saying basically that he was happy. You're at home, you're going to have some of the play but you still lost...again. How can he have kept his job?

Unbelievable. We were fucking toss for all except a 15 minute spell at the end of the first half, and Davis decides that 'the better team lost'? Fuck off, immediately, you absolute pretender.

We weren't great again but we didn't need to be. Crewe definitely won this round of "we're shitter than you" with some truly dire football featuring some of the least threatening crosses into our box that i've ever seen.

As for us, i really don't have a clue any more. Saunders talks about working hard and being organised but finds room for Gardner, Simons and O'Shea, all of whom can be decent but don't fall in to the grafters category.

Maybe we just don't have the players to play how he wants.

Oh, well done to Chris Herd as well. Best performance yet in his best position - funny that.

Got to laugh at all those Vale fans who said we'd be down by March. They haven't got a fucking clue, we'll be down by Christmas! Deluded fools.

I'd rather you weren't, so Grant/Moore/Ikpeazu/AJLS can confirm it with a pathetic scrappy tap in at home on April 9th

They haven't played for Crewe for years. It wouldn't be as funny.

To be fair a Crewe fan was practically crying on praise and grumble about the fact they let Grant, Moore and Uche go and now they are contributing to our decent season so far. Either Grant wanted out or Davies is clueless!

Pretty obvious that most Crewe fans agree it was a fucking travesty we let Grant go and Davis and Baker didn't want him due to personal grudges stemming back to when him and Inman were banished when Grant first arrive. The fact they made out it was for football reasons was insulting and they're still sweeping up the shite that came out of Baker's mouth that day.

Moore is shite and Uche wouldn't have helped us this year as he doesn't like it when the going gets tough.
