Just popping into to you have a look at our home for next season. I wouldn't back against us doing a Tranmere next season, we're a mess at the moment and our manager is somehow untouchable.

Enjoy our one off League Two tour, we won't be sticking around.

What's non-league football really like?

This is the one for realistic Crewe fans while in the other one is a FootballPurist one where I don't know if he actually believes what he's saying or just trolling.

Of course he's trolling. This is what he said on the league 1 forum just 5 days ago -

'It's not many matches ago that I kinda gave up on a late play-off charge and looking at the current table it would be foolish not to recognise that there exists a real chance that, despite all the points still up for grabs,we could,if we're honest here,be relegated'

He's another who got banned from 1FF for being a total prick with his trolling and abuse.

Hey hey hey! What's happening bitches?! Crewe Alexandra officially coming at ya for next season. Come on League Two, did you miss us? The place has changed since we left, can't say I'm a fan. ;) Looking forward to some of the better trips in this league next season. Luton, Newport, Crawley, Hartlepool, Stevenage. Can't wait.

Seriously though, looking forward to making this my new home for the next year. Looks like an active forum with plenty of good posters. Shoudl be fun.

I like your promotion and relegation threads in League 1, I hope you start up ones in League 2 next season.

atleast there is a couple of New grounds to venture too, if we can get rid of the clown in charge I might tick them off. Newport, Barnet, Exeter, Cambridge and potentially Forest Green, Cover of Braintree.

hoping we can drag Shrewsbury down with us.

Welcome back Crewe, the stannard of posting is better here, but the style of football sadly is not :cool1:

Nice relatively local game for us really considering all of the southerners in this division. Welcome Crewe.

You need to get out quickly is the best advice we can give otherwise you will end up like Wrexham and Grimsby stuck for several years. Our board decided to give Gary Johnson a really good budget, we signed a core of top conference players and added some good players released by league one clubs and set out to win the league from day one.

It's not all bad though, most clubs are really friendly and on several occasions our away support has matched or our outnumbered the home fans, there are some really small clubs in the bottom half of this league competing against clubs with ten or even twenty times the size of crowds. You can also see how unfit the part time teams are versus the big professional teams who tend to dominate towards the top.

The only club in the National League whose crowds are 20 times smaller than Tranmere's is Borehamwood.
I'm interested to know which home crowds Cheltenham's travelling support have outnumbered - Borehamwood?

When we were down there we had Leigh RMI, you don't get much smaller crowds at that level that they got, I remember we had several attendances for games which were higher then Leigh's season total attendance,

Indeed, our only promotion since 1998 was sealed with a 0-0 draw at Yeovil ten years ago. Terrible game, but brilliant day!

Nice easy trek from Manchester.

Met a few fair Crewe fans this season as a good mate of mine follows Nantwich so saw them during their FA trophy cup run - seen a decent bunch

Wood's aren't even ten times smaller on average than Tranmere... Mind you I was at Meadow Park when Grimsby outnumbered them. But even then Boreham Wood have the resources where they should be doing better and they nicked Doe from Dagenham and took every Barnet reject under the sun.
