Fortunately we seem to have at least 5 sellable assets (Kirk, Lowery, Wintle, Ng, Pickering) that could go for proper money, and we’ve got more coming through waiting for their chance. So would it be so bad to lose a few? Maybe, but we’ve got good players across the park who can rise to the challenge. Really good time to be a Crewe fan, Artell is working wonders and seems the perfect man for this club.

That’s our problem though, we’re not in the Championship anymore, and going up leads to sales, and then we’re just a L1/L2 yoyo club.

Once HS2 comes around (if it ever does) I can see the town and club seeing rejuvenation and investment. Then, we might do something special again.

Yes Salford a pretty rubbish, along with Oldham probably the worst we've played this season. Also they have the most cringe worthy supporters I've ever seen. I've only just come across "Salford City FC UK" on YouTube. Jeeeez words fail me.

I quite happily have no respect for their fans. Undoubtedly the dregs of the Man Utd & FC United fanbase, overly pleased with themselves at supporting a smaller club and, on Saturday, seeming to take a moral high ground on ticket pricing. Paying for quality, guys.
