Last week was good for the 1808 out of 5,000 season ticket holders. We were sat in a different part of the ground but that added to the experience. It was weird to actually hear the players shout, we normally cannot. There was one funny moment when Lowe gave some fairly industrial instructions to one player which everyone in the ground heard and laughed at. It was good to be back, but the one system made a very long trip for the loos some people moaned about. I just saw it as a half time constitutional around the ground.

For us it was a test event, so if we passed we can go to 2,000 next time.

How we got in is quite controversial and is causing some serious annoyance amongst fans. Argyle announced back in the summer that any future seat allocation would be based on first come first served in terms of buying your season ticket. They were assuming that capacity would be around 4,000 and we have 5,000 season ticket holders.

So everyone is hoping on the 16th that we go to tier one, so we can get 4,000 in. However, I don’t think it will happen, and even if the government do, that makes it really tight for the club to allocate all the tickets by the 19th.

Camborne as to your question as to why the rates are still low for you, maybe people in Cornwall are just unsocial (for some reason my smiling emoji won’t show)

Maybe they just stick to the rules like glue and aren’t rushing to the shops/pubs etc ?

Compared to London where it looks like people are acting as if everything is normal and ready for a big Christmas.

What is the percentage of Plymouth support that travels over the Tamar bridge to get their football fix from their nearest professional football club?

Judging by the number of people who go in to my local, i suspect you are right. This is despite the beer being cheaper and the reintroduction of Sky.

Difficult to say, but i usually go up with 6-8 Argyle supporting friends from Truro.

Probably less packed than pubs in tier 2 which is partly the issue?

I bet the pubs in London etc were heaving with people last night (having their substantial meal of course !!) and will be over Christmas.

Agreed. it would not surprise me if it was at least 10-20 per cent, if not possibly more as quite a few come on the train. Last season we were on holiday just past St Austell and came up for a night game against the Class of 92. It was probably just short of 40 miles from our caravan site to Home Park and we saw several coaches picking people up on the way. On our way back we followed cars virtually to our caravan site of people obviously who had been at the game - I was very surprised just how many there were.

my tongue was firmly in my cheek. As CG says there is not much density and mostly fairly small towns. My main issue was whether people from Plymouth would drive over the border to sample the hospitality. I have no idea what has happened to the rate in SE Cornwall, but it has gone back up again in Plymouth since the end of the lockdown.

London in tier 3 now.

So will that mean they cannot go over Christmas or are all the tiers relaxed then ?

The review to relax is on Wednesday my feeling is that given the rising rates due to let’s be honest the moronic behaviour of people shopping in London that the answer is no. They are likely to say we can have household Christmas bubbles but everything else will be tier 3 restricted. Even though we have falling rates up North I doubt they will drop us a tier.

What block(s) do you normally go to Camborne?
Obviously the Barn Park End when the Gills are in town, though the last time i was 'neutral' we sat in the corner of the Lyndhurst/Devonport.

It was a friends' 50th (lost 0-3 to Accy)
