Palace always look dangerous through Zaha and Bolasie, will be an entertaining side to watch this season.

That should have been 2-1, shoddy defending from Arsenal again.

I wonder how many of the millions of viewers watching this are thinking "yes... this team truly can be champions."

I'm wondering how many of the millions watching this will be able to stay awake during the Man City v Chelsea game, as i think it will be played at a snails pace compared to this game.

If it's played at slow pace, Mourinho will have succeeded. To be honest, City should have enough at home to at least dictate the terms of the game, in which case it won't be quite as boring as Mourinho will like it to be. He only sits back when it works, if City manage to create a fair few chances in the first 20 odd minutes he'll move his team up the pitch a bit.

Wenger

Wenger's finally taken Coquelin off, I don't know how he managed to avoid a second yellow with some of the tackles he was flying in to.

It's odd. Mason usually isn't afraid to send someone off. He's dished out 30 red cards in 183 matches. Compare that to Howard Webb, whom I know you rate and respect. He sent 33 players off in 298 matches.

He knows Coquelin is Arsenal's only defensive midfielder and that they struggle to defend even with him in the side, to send him off would just be cruel.

I don't know, I don't think he takes that into consideration but you could indeed be right. It would be a very cruel thing to do. But yeah, he should have walked definitely.

I thought we were excellent in the first half and unlucky to go in drawing. I thought we were poor in the second half and lucky to win. That is the football.

Just about deserved for Arsenal I think. Palace played well though. I think they'll have a decent season.

Not all that convincing a win for Arsenal, any win would have done though after that first game.

I think lucky is overstating it to be honest, any decent team will have 5-odd wins like this over a season. It's not really luck, but a case of percentages. They'll draw this game half the time, win it the other half. Looking at one game individually it's luck, but over the course of a season it's on par and quite predictable.

Bilo out.

98% is ridiculous for an attacking midfielder to be fair.

Never watched the game again because I recently started working weekends again but I heard Ozil was incredible. I'm just fucking delighted we got the three points.

The fact that we missed so many chances is what makes it seem like it was a close game. We created SO many chances that we just couldn't put away. Ozil was exceptional, Ramsey was good, Cazorla wasn't at his best.

The Ozil assist only happened because he completely messed up his cross...It made the finish from Giroud all the better.
