I haven't time to go back to the last CUFC post and see how the league table stands, but I know we're top and will take the title if we can beat Cambridge.
Otherwise, this is a game between two teams on the fringes of battles at opposite ends of the table. A win for Carlisle could put us back into the midst of the playoff race, anything else could signal the end of any meaningful promotion ambitions. Defeat for Cambridge could feasibly leave them closer to what currently looks like a three-way relegation scrap; though five points and a game in hand over a free-falling Yeovil team who take on MK Dons today means their position isn't as perilous as it looks.
