Alreet. If people are still interested then the fantasy game is open for business.

It's a wee bit of fanny to begin with but there's no transfers during the season so it's not a massive time drain afterwards, and you'll get to boast about nailing 2nd place in the Dwars door het Hageland-Aarschot.

Deadline for submitting team is 27 Feb, before the weekend of Omloop and Kuurne Brussels Kuurne.

If you are planning on doing it then I would advise holding off on the final submission of your team until nearer that date, cos it locks your riders in and someone will inevitably get injured or banned for racing on a Honda Fireblade in the meantime.

I think it could take two weeks to fine tune a team anyway. The rules make it pretty tight.

Simple win for Kittel this morning. Cav/Viviani/Modolo/etc not really close to him.

Deadline 11pm tonight. Be there or be forced to withdraw from the MPCC in abject disgrace.

When humble 1FF can muster 6 fantasy cycling teams I think we can say for sure that we are indeed living in a true golden era of Britisher cycling. Thank you, truly, Duke of Wiggo, Sir Froomedog, King Cav, Queen Victoria, Lordess Laura and indeed of course Earless Armitstead.

This is a good site for working out which races your fantasy charges will be finishing just outside of the point scoring spots at the in the near future: www.whereismyvdsteam.com/

If ye post yer teams names I think they've added some facility for private mini league monitoring this season.

Here are my ships of fools:

(Got rid of Stefan Kung the other day but couldn't think of another team name)

My team. Probably overspent on Valverde so I've got a lot of very cheap riders.

I'm thinking Sagan is just going to be an absolute friggin legend in the rainbow jersey. Distraught I couldn't have Tony Martin as well but needs must.

Long term gains.
Yeah I entered a team as well. Not put much strategy into it though it's basically just some riders I like plus a few others I've heard of to fill in the gaps :2thumb:

Here's my bunch of idiots btw. I really wanted to include Van Avermaet or Sagan but my love of Nairo won in the end and I couldn't make myself leave him out.

Castroviejo is an early casualty, I think he'll be out for a while...
:obama:ffs

I was worried I might've picked someone halfway through a ten year drugs ban or something so as long as I've avoided that I'll be happy.

IM WRONG, it's live on Sky Channel 464. Horrendous quality, but still.

7th in the overall rankings after day 1. Chapeau Lancaster Pro Cycling.

All downhill from here.

Vakoc again. It's over. Timey Wimey has battered us all already, like when Armstrong passed Ulrich in the prologue of the 2005 TDF.
