BC is basically a financial black hole we're patching up with half-measures until we FINALLY move, it's sapping vital financial resources, no matter how much I love the place.

I think the days of offering fans the chance to stand out in the open and get soaked are gone

After all the nice pubs we offer it's only fair we make part of the away fans experience reflective of the medieval character of our city.

My memories of York & Dagenham.
Been to Bootham Crescent a few times but on my first visit got knicked during second half. ( 1973/74 season) I remember saying to Don Megson ( our manager at the time ) looks like we're all going off today Don as Rovers had earlier had two players sent off. He was'ny particulary impressed to say the least. Nor was I when we had to go back on the Sunday for a court appearance on the Monday. ( a typical 70's thing ).
Anyway we both secured promotion to the old div 2 that season. Lovely city from what I can remember of it.
With regards to D&R only been once in a 4-2 win a couple of seasons ago. Smallish club but hoping John Still can work his wonders for next season.

Funny thing after tomorrows game we have both of you to finish our season. Be good to us please.
