Get in there!

Darlington 2-0 Bamber Bridge

(Nathan Cartman 52', Graeme Armstrong 56')

Attendance: 1,876.

Didn't post last night, I'd rather let our football do the talking, and amazing to see that Bamber Bridge didn't sell out their allocation. I've just heard the news that they could only sell 180 tickets, and they tried to send the remaining 120 tickets back to Darlington to sell.

Destruction - What are you talking about regarding the referee? No big decisions to make apart from your goalkeeper being sent-off in the 92nd minute for a professional foul.

It could well have been 3 or 4 in the second-half, great performance and togetherness.

We are going up!

Congrats Darlo.

What level are you at now? Forgive my ignorance of the lower depths of the non-league pyramid (maybe I will get to know it a lot more over the next few years)...

They have been promoted to the Northern Premier League (Level 7) 2 leagues below the Conference Prem. This season they were in the Northern Premier League Division 1 North.

Great result Darlo. Evo Stik Premier, only 3 steps away from the football league. Back home soon an all, things looking good. Best of luck next season lads.

Congrats Darlo.

They have just been promoted to the Evo Stik Premier, just 2 steps below the conference(your current level). Not far off now.

Thanks for all of the kind messages!

2 promotions in 3 seasons was the target so to achieve that despite starting afresh around this time in 2012 is absolutely brilliant.

We now move back to Darlington for the 15/16 season taking on the Evo-Stik Premier!

Bamber Bridge are so much better than Darlo, though. Evidently...

Well done guys! 1 more promotion into the Conference North?

The only thing worse than sore losers is sore winners IMHO.
Nobody is sore Dessy, all the best next season. Bamber Bridge are genuinely a good club and it must be gutting to fail in two play-off finals consecutively.

Brig are within a strong shout of winning the league next season with Salford and Darlington promoted. I was impressed with both of your full-backs today, along with McKenna in the middle and Waddecar up front.

Yep, one more promotion and we're hitting the big-time. It's not an easy league though, as FCUM found out.

Congrats Darlo, only just caught up with this. Good season for the lower non-league fans on here it seems!

Well done Darlo, great to see you on the way back up the leagues :2thumb::brill:

Wot he says. I followed what we all thought was the last minute rescue a few years back, and felt for you all when it all seemed to be for nowt.

Well done Darlo, can only make a better league for Lancaster and Brig next season with Darlo and Salford out of the way.
Can see you and Salford battling it out for promotion again in the evo prem. Many teams seem to challange in the first season when promoted from div 1.

Thanks for all the messages!

Can't help but feel that the football club is in a much stronger position than what it was when we achieved our first promotion (since becoming fans-owned) in April 2013. With little debt remaining and everything set for our move back to Darlington, its looking good.

On to the Northern Premier League now with teams in such Workington, Ilkeston, Blyth, Whitby and Hyde. Expect 2-3 players in to strengthen based on the current squad, possibly more due to departures. Top 5 finish is what we should be aiming for.

Agreed, playoff final and Darlo can only offer Brig 300 tickets. For a final. Not on really.

If it was up to me you would have got 200, there was simply no need to offer you 300 - as was proven by the fact that you only sold 180 anyway.

120 Darlo fans went without due to your club being given 300 tickets.
