Fielding to show why he'll be England's future number one, with a world class performance. Paterson to score a hat trick.

Derby 0-3 Bristol City (Paterson 12', 56', 84')

We always get dicked at Pride Park, and now we're playing them at a worse time than any other.

Without trying to add to the negative vibez this is exactly the sort of game we have lost in recent years...

I'll be over the fucking moon if we win.

Huge chance for Derby to really cement themselves as favourites for the top two and you'd have to fancy them on recent form. The stakes are high though, so pressure could play a big part for both teams.

They should really piss this. Signed Cameron Jerome have they? So they can add him to the list of their attacking options... Matej Vydra, Sam Winnall, David Nugent, Darren Bent, Chris Martin, Johnny Russell, Tom Lawrence, Andreas Weimann and Mason Bennett!

That’s what we’re competing with, the pressure is rightly so on Derby. They should put us away.

Well he’d go above Taylor and Woodrow in our pecking order...

Almost liked that post until your second sentence ruined it.

I can't say it's a signing that really gets me excited but let's be reyt here, he's pretty much bossed every season at this level where he's had a fair crack at it. 1 goal in 8 this year isn't exactly prolific but I imagine he's been used less frequently under Farke hence the sale.

But yeah, Mason Bennett being mentioned is pretty funny. He'll be off on loan down the lower league I imagine, like every other half decent youth prospect we seem to have is doing.

I just don't think it's a signing you need mate, Nugent and Martin are both of a similar mould and are all the wrong side of 30 I believe, thought you'd be able to attract better.

Having said that, I can't really question Rowett as he's far more knowledgable about the game than any of us as proven.

This will signal the end for Chris Martin IMO, he's not been used that much as it is and there's no way we're going to have Nuge, Vydra, Winnall, Jerome and Martin all in the same matchday squad.

The Rowett bit is spot on. Plenty of Derby fans, myself included, weren't too impressed with his summer signings but they're doing the business for us that's for sure, he knows what he's doing. The squad average age is no longer creeping up it's off the chart; that's now Carson, Davies, Huddlestone, Nugent, Bent and Jerome from the England Under 21 squad of 2004.

Nugent is still the best striker in the league and I won't hear otherwise.

Always thought he was one of the biggest pricks going but when he's on your side you can't help but feel the love. Beautiful human being.

Solid 2-0 home win. I predict us to fall out of the play offs before storming back at the end of the season.

Not gonna happen I'm afraid.

You've only lost 3 in 27? Need you to lose 3/4 more in 19.. nope. Not this year.

We don't have any extra attacking options (unless by some miracle Djuric or Diedhiou are passed fit for tonight) so I really don't see us scoring, given that Derby have such a mean defense. 0-2 sounds about right. Would be more than happy with a point.

Derby hit the bar, but Fielding had it covered.
