Watched bits of Derby’s game last night and expect we’ll shape up in exactly the same way as Forest. Would usually take a point at Pride Park but we’ve nowt to lose really so may as well have a go.

Maenpaa
Hunt Webster Kalas Kelly
Weimann Brownhill Pack O’Dowda
Paterson
Diedhiou

I’d go for that providing Webster is back, if not then Baker back in which is fine by me, lots of good options at CB. Weimann and O’Dowda both have a point to prove against Derby and should be up for it.

1-0 Derby. (Lawrence 82’)

Weimann on the wing already?

We're not quite at it, if we can put 40/50 minutes of a good performance together like we did vs Swansea we should do alright. No game is a 'must win' at this stage but with Sheffield United, Norwich, Boro and Leeds to come after this it's pretty vital we get 3 points.

After recent results and most importantly performances have picked up, I’m quite happy for us to go to Derby and get something.

We’ve been a team hard to beat away from home which is promising, it’s just that cutting edge in the final third.

Don’t expect LJ to change the side much, think you’re spot on JJ.

I fancy another shithousing 0-1..

He’s been out wide the last three games yeah, change of system.

Good chance for us get the Forest game and surrounding hype out of our system. I'd expect a more open game with us edging it.

7 points from 3 games woukd set us up nicely ahead of some shocking Christmas fixtures.

The table will start to properly take shape once we get past 1st Jan.

Should have won that. A great performance lacking the final finish and an awful offside decision from the lino.

Managed to get Rams TV on my IPTV box (very impressive to be fair) and while I'm happy enough with a point, we probably should have won that. Patto (much better again) missed an absolute gimmee and we had a decent shout for a pen, although I think it was just good strong defending in all honesty. The 'offside' was scandalous too.
Fam caused Keogh problems again, as seems to be the norm when we face Derby.
What's that now, 5 unbeaten?
I wonder what the priority will be in January for us? An extra forward and a bit of creativity in the midfield maybe?
Well done City.

Think point was fair result, yes Bristol shaded second half but we dominated first half and should've been about 4-0 up at half time.

Apart from the goal that City scored then Alfonzo? :pond:Fammy hitting the bar was first half too.
For 20 minutes, you were certainly the better side, I wouldn't disagree with that but I wouldn't say you dominated the first 45. 20 most certainly.
In all seriousness, a point away at Derby isn't to be sniffed at and I would have taken that before the game.
EDIT: Just seen Carson's save from Fammy again on the highlights, that was some save, fair play to him.

Decent point, could’ve nicked it.

We were really comfortable until we started threading through balls for City's players. Second half was pretty sloppy all round. They had a couple of good chances, so did we, could have gone either way.

We're not playing very well at all on the whole. Fear for us going into these next few fixtures.

Those chances were both awful defensive errors and your only two chances of the first half the rest was played in your half. So yes, we did dominate the first half - you had chances, yes. But created nothing for yourselves.

We forced the errors through pressing you high.

No, you really did not dominate the first half. 4-0? Hahahaha.

You're lucky to get a point, if it wasn't for a wrong offside decision and a worldy save from Carson, who your own commentators described as the best save he's made this season we would of had all 3 points sunshine.

On the subject on rams tv, towards the end they said that we are the best attacking side to visit pride park this season, which was nice to hear.

Weird way of looking at it. Do we discount all the saves your keeper made in the second half just to suit the argument or?

No doubt we were poor and you were marginly better but that's a narrow view of the game IMO. You could have nicked it for sure, but so could we.

My response was in reply to the bitter derby fan that clearly thought his team were going to run comfortable winners pre match, fully aware you had chances.

But if the linesman had of kept his flag down like he should of there's a very good possibility we would have won the game.

Would of taken a point before a ball was kicked so I'm happy, but not going to ignore comments made by a deluded, bitter twat.

FWIW I don’t think he’s too far off with his first half assessment but we all like our say don’t we.

See thee at AG.

I was just giving my assessment of the game but whatever - call me bitter I don't really care. And just to show my point of view: Josefzoon's one on one chance, Nugent's sitter, Mason Mount's volley, the goal which we actually scored. We had many chances and dominated the first half. I said you shaded the second - I'm not actually that far off "sunshine" - don't know why you're being so childish about it.

I don't know why I'm being called names for giving my opinions when you clearly have your own that you have posted. I had no pre-expectations that we were going to win - far from it. I'm a Derby fan, why would I expect to win any game - we're the kings of not winning games we are on paper supposed to win. Again, I don't know where this is coming from as I was just stating my opinion - and I'll leave it at that Thanks.

Dry your eyes Jon fucking hell, you’re abusing someone for having a different view on a game to yourself.
