My housemate from last year had a trial for Luton Town and also played for Ebbsfleet Reserves.

Knew another lad from my work who played for the Shrewsbury youth setup as well before he started doing dope late in high school. Was very good mates with Andre Gray of all people.

My next door neighbours son was a goalkeeper in the youth team of Vale and then West Brom before being released by both for not being tall enough. He then went college in the USA and played over there and is now playing in the Portuguese top flight having being linked with moves to Southampton and Newcastle a couple of summers ago.

I had a trial for Charlton many years ago, I was wearing a Donny top, one of the coaches asked who the fuck are they? To which I replied who the fuck are you? Needles to say it was a very short trial.
