Yeah apparently the first goal was handball (it wasn't) the 2nd goal was never a pen (it most definitely was) and the 3rd goal was lucky. Packs volley to set up the 3rd was pure class.

And apparently wilbs should of seen red, which I can't comment on because it wasn't in the highlights.

That forum is worse than OTIB, haha.

Also complained about inciting the crowd during our dance celebrations. The same club that used to have Billy Sharp run towards the away end after every goal he scored.

Yep, just have a look at the second goal in this video against us

I remember shortly after leaving Donny he scored a goal against them that effectively relegated them and he celebrated like fuck. People who don't know a lot about football view him as an absolute hero after that goal he scored after his son died, don't get me wrong it was a nice moment and everything, but that shouldn't disguise the fact he's a c***

The referee was poor..but you cant argue the penalty.

And the Wilbraham 'sending off' was pathetic. Doncaster players (and moreso the bench) were trying to make something of nothing to get back in the game. Absolutely nothing in it atall.

I was there and there was nothing in that Wilbraham challenge. Even their lad didn't really react, it was the Doncaster bench.

Just to clear up a few points, Firstly I didn't go to the game as I was holed up in a real ale pub in deepest North Yorkshire for a few days, but from what I gather we had a go in the 2nd half after being roundly outplayed in the 1st half.
On on of our forums when someone drops the c bomb it automatically changes to the former Portsmouth & Reading striker, the reason he is disliked by each & every Rovers fan is, for one he always scored against us. He also celebrated these goals often by running half the length of the field to give it the finger on lips, hand cupped to ear etc etc, he was also involved in plenty of incidents, he volleyed Sam Hird up the arse & scored with a blatant handball in the same game. Basically he was a plain in the arse player & also a knob with it (probably how many fans see Billy Sharp).
Steve Cotterill, The only man I have ever see make Sean O'Driscoll lose his rag (until the flipped his lid at Bristol!!), I was at the Portsmouth game at Fratton a few years back with Dickinson (I think) almost snapped James Hayter in 2 with an awful challenge, a melee followed, Dickinson was sent off & Cotterill blamed David Healy's reaction for getting him dismissed, He comes across (to me anyway) as a sore loser & absolute arrogant arse of a man who could cause a row in an empty room, judging by our forums I'm not alone in this & Dickov could have secured legendary status by laying him out the other night. For what it's worth I used to watch Cotterill at Wimbledon in my younger days & liked him as a player but wouldn't want him in charge of my club not that I imagine he has any dreams of managing DRFC.
Re Billy Sharp, I remember him scoring both at Southampton against us, I think he was booked for jumping into the home end.The away end had mixed feelings that day with plenty turning against him but I didn't blame him, he loves scoring goals. When he went to Scunthorpe with us he got a great reception but scored & went crazy & he celebrated when he scored for us home & away at Sheffield Utd his boyhood club.

Cheers for that, a good read and certainly cleared a few things up.

Re cotterill, he most definitely is a sore loser, and I completely understand why he would rub people up the wrong way but he's one of those that you love his attitude when he's at your club, but absolutely loathe him when he isn't! Thankfully we haven't lost to many times this season to see his ugly side, although j think he's only lost his temper 2, or 3 times this season.

P.s - Billy sharp is a bellend
