Based on the theory AJ can't score and Grant can't pass when we've seen the polar opposite possibly this is the case, think Yeovil stuck AJ out wide too didn't they? I was a bit flat when we signed AJ based on his recent past and Crewe fans comments but once he got into the side he's been in great form and seems to be thriving in the striker role which we are using him in. If he repeats his last 14 games in the next he will finish on 20 plus for the season but we will see... Had he been in the starting XI from the start he almost certainly would have come May.

Vale closed us down and worked hard but it's no excuse for conceding either goal, both came from poor passing and an inability to tackle. We never competed, I can't remember us making one single tackle in the first half and too many of our players were trying to pass like Gerrard and woefully failing. The worst performance I've seen under Ferguson who got the team wrong, how the hell Chaplow didn't get subbed let alone picked in the first place will remain a mystery.

As for Ajay. Pleased he's doing well, I'd rather he was doing well for Yeovil than fucking Vale but there's no regrets as when he left us the timing was right. I think a lot of Crewe fans forget he was fantastic for us in our promotion run but he looked lost in League One after that.

You come out with crap sometimes JJ, I known AJ for years & years and he now reaping what he should of been doing at his home town club. Mismanaged by Davis big time just like a fair few player I could quite easily mention and yes failed to spark at Yeovil but that was a poor team and again not used his ability to the teams strengths. Good luck to him I say and their are a few clubs who have been watching in recent games.
