We were as expected to be honest. I knew we would lose today so I'm not that bothered. PNE are just a better side than us who know how to beat us. Jennings and Benavente looked good though.

That was one thing that did piss me off today actually. We kept crossing it even though every time we did it was very easily collected by your keeper. Even I could see it wasn't working but for some reason we persisted.

Did any of you Preston fans take a wrong turning on any of the billion roundabouts in MK like i...... erm...... didn't.....
Considering yesterday was match day I was out in MK from 9 in the morning until 8 at night, and only saw 2 people in MK Dons tops, and one of those was in Nando's right outside the ground, expected to see a lot more to be honest.

As I said. Solid, consistent performer, who was brilliant in the Championship for us, despite some of our fans' claims.

The new signings have been impressive so far, although it's too early to judge Vermijl as he is nowhere near upto full fitness.

Pickford has been superb, absolutely dominated his 6 yard box yesterday, his distribution is top drawer and he's shown he's an able shot stopper as well.

Cunningham, is defensively sound, good on the ball and has a great cross on him...likes to get stuck in too. Looks a great signing.

and Keane looks a class act playing just behind the strikers, good close control and can pick a pass. Started the move that led to Gally's goal yesterday and threaded through a good ball for Johnson as well. Hard worker too.

Good, under-the-radar signings.
