Not many around compared to the last few seasons!

Surprised not one has been done given theres a few posters for each club on here.

The Mansfield fans will certainly be more festive than this time last week when dempster was still in charge, but after a promising performance against crewe and new manager Graham coughlan in place - quite the coup for us - hopefully we can start to see an improvement.

Role reversal since our last game against Northampton - with them plodding in midfield and us going for promotion - Northampton always seem to be pretty decent or pretty shit but never average! Hopefully a 1000+ plus following I’d imagine?

Going for a 1-1 draw.

We had sold 400+ this morning. We were on a good run until coming unstuck at Exeter and with your new manager bounce I'd be happy to come away with a point…

Same, would be happy with a point today. Don’t know many going from my lot, Crawley on Boxing Day seems to be the festive trip of choice and then we have a few trips in early Jan (Burton, Salford, Orient) so I reckon 500 max today

Annoyingly I’ll be missing this, first home game all season I not be in attendance either, but I don’t want to take the risk that I projectile vomit and condemn the entire Ian Greaves Upper with severe sickness.

Good luck to the new manager!

Sounds like we’ve ridden our luck since going 1-0 down (to a shot the keeper should really save) but Harry Smith has just nodded in an equaliser. Big sexy bastard.

I’d have been genuinely gutted had we lost to that absolute fraud of a football team.

Curle and his dreadful antics and dreadful sides don’t change, if that’s what the quality is for promotion fuck me, wow lol. No wonder they had such a pathetic away following.

Much better performance from Mansfield today, effort, guile and commitment we looked liked the side we could be.

Still a bunch of whiny fuckers then, could hear it on the radio all throughout the game. Not much changes at Field Mill.

As for pathetic away followings, not a great home turnout either? Barely scraped 4,000 for the new gaffers first game

4,000ish not bad, it started to drop obviously and we are still 17th in the league table, our home form is one of the very worse in the division.

What was the away following?

Why spend it in either when you’re in Northampton! Lol. If Northampton were decent I’d understand, like if it were a Cambridge or York fan, but Northampton? :P1:, you been on the beer pal?

Yeah that’s abysmal.
yeah, we all expected they’d have bought 800 as a lower figure, we were all astounded how low it is. Maybe money is tight round there.

Not much better than Adam and Conks labelling the away support at Field Mill pathetic, when there are only 4000 home fans to welcome the new manager after weeks and weeks abusing the last manager to get him out.

Classic Stags that, some things don't change.

P!ss poor from both an East Midlands clash .

Haha similar tbh.

Still, it’s nice to play sides like Northampton, port vale and Bradford over Christmas. The joys of the football league!

Yeah I imagine for those who travelled it’s a nice reminder of the people who have it tough and not to take running water etc for granted

Ha. Yeah. I don’t recall Northampton being “that bad” decent area in the town centre. I guess at this festive period it’s good to remember we’re league sides and don’t have double header fixtures against the likes of Solihull moors or Maidenhead

Cling onto that Adam, but don't forget this could be the start of yet another Golden period of MTFC history with the 3rd tier of English football surely on the cards sooner rather than later.

We are talking in Dreamland when that happens :2thumb:

Don’t you have a Vanarama highlights show to record?

They post on here to still feel relevant. Ha.

Do they even have a show for conference football, can’t imagine anyone would want to watch that *stain*

Eric - I wait for them to pop up on Facebook as I wasn't one of the 546 in attendance. Too far to travel , when you have a newborn.

Adam - You were in non league for 5 seasons surely you know how you saw the goals and highlights of the games you didn't attend.

How do you forget those 5 seasons so soon they weren't that long ago lol

Absolutely, fortunately this season mansfield are in the football league, we’re able to play games against other relevant sides in the football league.

It’s nice there’s a place in the bananarama league setup for east midlands sides like chesterfield, notts county, alfreton and Boston.

Clear improvement today with the crowd getting behind the team from what I hear so that’s a positive.

I noticed he dropped Maynard, which is surprising, but some will argue warranted.

So you can remember, thought so, decent chunk of your supporting life as a Stags fan.

Relevant sides :fl: stop it, stop it

There has already a setup for East Midland clubs in non league as Lincoln City and Mansfailed Town know oh so well. Lost that race ;)

I'll let you guys get back to the whole pathetic away following versus p!ss poor home support at this L2 east mids clash today.
