I thought he showed more passion and desire in 1 game that dempster has done all season. We’re In a same pair of hands with him.

I must admit, managers who have been at stags - the good ones always seem to be more animated on the touch line in comparison to the hands in pocket managers. I think Dempster left the club with the worst ever win ratio, what a disaster.

I’m just excited that I actually think we’ve got a chance against anybody coming up over the Christmas period now, seeing as I’ll be at all of them!

Clear improvement today with the crowd getting behind the team from what I hear so that’s a positive.

I noticed he dropped Maynard, which is surprising, but some will argue warranted.

He just looks the part, and I’ve every confidence from what folk have said of him and what he’s said here that he’s going to knock a few egos about - and I don’t think any fans are going to have an issue with that!

Far from perfect but a much improved performance. At least there were fight and determination.

Incidentally I thought it was a decent attendance considering it was on the last Saturday before Christmas, especially considering we were sitting in 17th/18th place. In comparison Exeter were in 2nd place and got a very similar home turnout.

Your crowd got behind the team initially, but went quiet after your new manager burst, we almost forgot that you were still there. Until you scored, then noisy for the few minutes until we scored.
I was also pleasantly surprised when your team sheet didn't include Nicky Maynard.
Thought that the game was pretty even through to our equaliser, after which we were the only ones going to win because you appeared to retreat in order to protect the point.
