I don't blame them for time-wasting at all, and have just said as much on our forum. There's a holier than thou element on there, but I agree, any team should be doing the same. It was just a shame, because if anything it hindered Gills more than helped.

You don't know if it hindered us rather than helping though. If we'd kept playing with the same intensity throughout the game as we did in the first 20mins or so of each half, our players could have been completely fucked and lost the game 3-2 or worse.

It's not like we completely stopped playing after going in front either. Evans pulled off a good save from a Reeves volley at 1-0 and tipped Lee's free kick onto the bar at 2-1.

Mk dons choking under the pressure. Gonna be an interesting end to season for the autos and play offs. Great for neutrals.

It's mad that he's in L1, he wouldn't look out of place in a top six Championship side.

Bannan? Neither. He chose to stay and signed a new deal when we were basically already down last season. He’s settled and has a young daughter to a local girl I think. Very rare you see it these days.
Good on him. Likeable bloke.

9pt gap with 4 left to play, Wigan are up.

Dingles, Plastics, Nobbers, Lashers & the Pie Heads next season, not bad for saving on petrol.
still you all walk in our shadows

To be fair, out of every club in Lancashire/ Greater Manchester, Wigan are the only club that cares about Bolton so I'm not surprised you're disappointed to lose them.

That 6-0 was class from you mate but will never haunt me. We sacked a shit manager and appointed a better one on the back of it. Still got the same number of points against you as you got off us. Gods honest masi tell us the truth how old are you and do you have a job?

My god we were crap, absolutely crap. I'm furious with the manager, I cannot believe he changed formation. Back to the shitty 4-2-3-1 with square pegs in round holes just so he can shoehorn his captain into the team. Beaten by Cambridge side who are clearly extremely well coached both on and off the ball and the lad Iredale who were we linked with January had Lang in his back pocket throughout. Any Championship fans watching will have been thinking a very easy six points are on the cards next season and rightly so.

The perils of having an inexperienced manager shone through.

Unreal performance from us today, such a superb away day. Fully deserved the win and scored two excellent goals, especially Smith’s header. My first (and only) away game of the season, cracking atmosphere. Loved it.

This season has been nothing short of superb. Beating Newcastle, Portsmouth, Ipswich and Wigan away is an incredible return. Sunderland next away game, bring it on.

Really fancy Cheltenham to show us how to get a result tomorrow
We'll knock it about but they'll put away a couple of set pieces and get the points.
Big physical sides love playing at Sincil Bank, pretty little soft touch Lincoln getting bullied at home.

Depends which Cheltenham turn up. The one that wants to secure the highest position in the club's history and seal itself as our best ever team, or the one that's on the beach because we're already safe.

We're playing like we're safe, at least Maguire is injured, we're incredibly lightweight

We should have a similar points total to you guys but we just underperformed all season, especially at home.
