The last 6 or so games he has started there, over the course of the season he has played just over 1/5th as a Wing Back or Full Back.

Both has amazing seasons so couldnt really argue with either winning it. Isn't this award voted for by the other L2 players?

Yes it is, my only gripe is when it’s voted for. Have a vote and award at the end of the season when everything is done. I believe the voting opened in January when funny enough Cook wasn’t top goal contributor by miles.

Move over Haaland no player of the season for you, Milner can cover 3 positions that’s what really matters. Goals don’t win game’s versatility does, how dare Cook not go on the wing or full back.

TBF I am not bothered either way, if Cook won it it wouldnt have surprised me or upset me. But I think the argument being made for Hoskins is that he has numbers not too dissimilar from Cook despite not playing in a position where you are as likely to score goals.

Absolutely agree on that. Makes no sense at all, especially as promotion places etc are still regularly up for grabs until the end of the season which could make a big impact on voting.

We don't like him and they're not pretty but if Evans takes Stevenage up in the autos with a squad of about 12 players then he's manager of the year for me.
