It's been a job for the boys for many years. How many of them actually have ever even kicked a ball in anger? It needs a major shake-up and get real football people in who actually know what they are doing! Greg Dyke for instance. What is his connection with football? His background is TV.

Agree. All of these organisations end up losing touch (assuming they have ever been in touch in the first place). And rather than progressing the game, those at the top seem to be more concerned with preserving power. Its not just football that has this problem though - its pretty much every big organisation.

The irony of him whining that the Premier League get so much money is astounding, considering he was one of the major players in creating the Premier League when he was at ITV. He was fine with it then wasnt he?

Its funny too how none of these guys who feel so wronged about this actually had positions of power to change it and never bothered when they could. It's a bit like a referee coming out and complaining about the standard of refereeing and being just as bad as all the others.

Agree. I'd forgot Dyke had spoke about this subject in particular. I was more observing the long list of FA members in general who have no logical connection. Wasn't Moynihan made FA Chairman at one stage and he had bugger all to do with football?!
