Shocking dive from the Brazilian to win the free kick they scored from.

England vs Korea ended 0:0. Now they have to hope to be one of the 4 best 3rd placed teams (looks good at the moment).

if they and Germany dont lose vs Mexico and Argentina vs Australia will have a winner they will meet each other in the first knock-out round

how will England progress:

at the moment they are 3rd best third placed teams with four groups to go (3rd placed team from group D is already ahead of England)

only one of the below scenarios is allowed to happen and they would still progress, but two of them and they are eliminated

South-Africa are not allowed to beat Russia
North-Korea is not allowed to beat Costa Rica
Australia is not allowed to beat Argentina
Argentina is not allowed to beat Australia
Syria is not allowed to beat France
New Zealand is not allowed to beat Paraguay

This particular group just can't seem to put the ball in the back of the net and that has been that way for the last few seasons, but I do have high hopes for a few of them especially Marcus Edwards of Spurs because he is a special talent

England went very unlucky out ( also Paraguay)

the regular time is over and the addtional time starts.

currently is England the 4th best ( and last qualified) 3rd ranked team.

90+1

New Zealand scores the winner (which was offside for me) vs Paraguay which sends England home and Paraguay in favour of England on the 4th best spot

90+3

North Korea scores the winner vs Costa Rica which lift them on the 4th best spot and also sends Paraquay along with England home as the worst 3rd ranked teams.

highlights of both games

The future doesn't look good for the future England side basing it on this.

In 2014 we won the U17's Euro's without Crowley and Rossiter and if that team had gone to the U17's WC we could have won it, but the 2015 group which have just got knocked out of the WC with a few exceptions was not as talented, also WH stopped the FA from picking Reece Oxford who is an exceptional talent from going, saying that he could suffer from burn out Lol, P.S also this seasons U17's group, ability wise are supposed to be even better than the 2014 group, so to say the future of English football does not look good based one tournament is a bit OTT.

I wouldn't try to draw too much from results at this level, or any level really. France haven't qualified for the U21 Euros for 9 years for example, but they have plenty of talent coming through. This is a relatively weak group but I still wouldn't be surprised to see Willock, Edwards, Oxford and Dasilva play for England one day.

Fair enough. I don't really follow the youth team's much so I was just basing it on this tournament.

yes and no. the results are mostly not showing the real talent and there are could still some promising youngsters in it, but a title winning side have minimum one very big talent in it ( france under 20 wc winning team of 2013 for example with Pogba)

England entertained Germany today. in a goal galore England lost 3:5 (0:3)

Reiss with a brace in three minutes (64 + 66) before he was sent-off a minute later. Leko with the third after 77 minutes (second penalty) to make the scoreline more acceptable as they were 0:5 down after 60 minutes.

on friday in Rotherham they will have the chance to take a revanche
