Who could tell Portugal almost with no victories on regular time would get so far? Congratulations to them. It’s a pity Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t participate of the most part of the game playing but his enthusiasm and captain spirit was amazing and this was good to Portugal shows they’re not only Ronaldo. Fernando Santos was able to manage the team smartly knowing all the limitations and using strategies to those not being used against themselves. And what a man is Rui Patricio. France could’ve done easily much better if they’ve came with the same strength as against Germany but I saw them like the last match of group phases – a team exaggeratedly guarded, afraid to risk and lose, but actually the lack of taking risks was what really prejudiced them.
