Well done Clattenburg for having the courage to stand up and make the right decision against the home team.

The Match of the day pundits trying to claim the Shaqiri goal was a cross is outrageous

He was looking over at Arnautovic the whole time - he was definitely trying to square it.

I think he meant it, I've often tried things like that with the ball coming across my body. If it was someone like Cameron Jerome I wouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt, but Shaqiri used to play for Bayern...

I'd love Hughes to tweet "It's because you're shit Pete". #noseriously

Can't help but feel Everton are really missing an opportunity this season

Martinez blamed the ref for Stoke's winner but what about his defence...

Like at Wigan he doesn't seem able to sort that out...

Is Stones that good - or hyped because he is English and young?

The simple truth is that Martinez is a very limited manager. Like his predecessor, clubs of Everton's ilk are probably his limit.

Martinez can blame the ref all he wants and it was a contentious decision. However, you only have to look at the stats and the blame firmly lies with him. That's nineteen goals conceded at home now, a truly pathetic amount to be conceding. Until he sorts out his tactics defensively then we will continue to capitulate.

Tim Howard isn't to blame for every goal but he doesn't instill confidence in me and hasn't done for a while. I'd much rather see Joel playing. Although we need a new keeper altogether. We are so vulnerable to the counter attack, it's ridiculous.

Attacking wise we are playing some of the best football I've seen us play and Lukaku is more than proving his worth. But it's all in vain because we can't defend. We showed good character to come from behind twice and then lead but we threw it away again.

To score five goals in two consecutive home games and come away with two defeats is unacceptable.

"No, no way he meant it, I asked him after the game and he said he was trying to cross it for Marko in the middle and it was lucky.

It looks a great finish but I'm delighted for him because over the last few weeks he's been playing well but just needing the goals and he got two there at the weekend."

Straight from the mouth of Charlie Adam.
