Barkley played pretty well. He does dally on the ball but he mostly made good decisions today. Great, controlled finish on his weaker foot too.

I'm not sure this could be your year. There's 5 teams that are better than you anyhow. You also were playing against us: a team that can never get anything against Everton(except the one time last year). We looked good in the first half and then we just slipped away in the 2nd half with a lot less urgency, just a poor performance all around.

Yeah you were okay. You had one great chance in the first half but someone put it over, reckon you'd have gone on to win if it had gone in. Everton tightened up in the second half and just capitalised on some poor defending. It was quite an even game really.
