Only 3 sides with a 100% record and 2 play each other at SJP.

Summat has to give and even without Yates I fancy us to make it 3 out of 3. We’ve played some great stuff - especially against Carlisle - and away from home we’ll do a load of sides on the break. Our first choice CBs will obviously return after missing midweek and the oh so impressive Jordan Lyden and Lloyd Isgrove.

0-2

Last time we beat Exeter in a league game was in 1986 when we won 3-0 in Exeter.

I can't see us winning on Saturday, Yates not playing is a massive loss and we don't really have a replacement for him so Wellens is going to have to tinker with the side. We'll almost certainly setup to try and frustrate and break with the pace of Isgrove, Woolery and Anderson. The latter 2 are very wasteful so we have to be more clinical with our chances.

2-0 Exeter. Ajose with at least one.

1-1 after creating a load of chances and bemoaning a lack of someone to stick them away after the game.

Looks like a sell out for away fans. Less than 200 left. Not sure if it’s POTD. Doubt it.

Will be interesting to see how this one pans out.

Think Swindon have got a good thing going this season and they'll be up there. Exeter with a couple of last minute winners so far so can't rule them out of a game it seems. Hopefully they fall away :animatedf:

We have made hard work of our two league wins and I'm not sure our manager knows his best formation yet. That said, we have not conceded in the league either. We are definitely fine up front, and i think Bowman is going to have a fine season, and by rights should be fine in midfield but seem to struggle to get the right combination. Some city fans perceive us to be weak at LB and RB, but we must doing be something right with the clean sheets. I think this will probably be a draw, and should be a great atmosphere if Swindon sell out their allocation. Lot's talking about this game in our fair city, which is great so early on in the season. Pretty much all of my old crowd are going to this one, and wish I could !

Should bloody well think so, top of the table clash and only just over 1000 tickets available at the shed. Be a travesty if you dont sell out.

Like to think we could win this, with our fast counter attacks, trouble is we just need someone to knock them in. Hopefully, Wellens will have brought in a striker, but not holding my breath. I can see Twine playing a s the lone striker........Draw

Tough test for us as Swindon look like they will be up there this season.

Yates missing is a blow for them and a plus for us, but annoyingly Tom Parkes is serving a retrospective 3 game ban after being caught elbowing a Stevenage player on Saturday. So I assume Aaron Martin will be recalled alongside Moxey.

The biggest call for Taylor will be whether he continues with Ajose and Bowman up top. This has meant we look weak in midfield and the service to the front two has been poor. It’s no coincidence we’ve improved in the final third of both games when Lee Martin has come on and we switch to a 4-3-3.

Should be a good crowd with Town travelling well. Sadly I won’t be there as on my hols in Portugal (gutted).

2-2 Williams and Ajose for us; Woolery and Fryers for Swindon. Att 5112 with 1100 from Swindon

Twitter rumour suggests a signing tomorrow. Source reckons it’s a ‘socks blown off’ signing.

I reckon it’s Eoin Doyle. Socks will remain firmly in place!

Hope so. Don't want to be in a position where it feels like we're wasting games going in with a lack of firepower.

We get told we'll make a "huge signing" at Oxford roughly every 3 days. If Chairman promises were sacrosanct we would be walking the league.

Turns out to be Jamie Devitt from Blackpool. He’s only been there a matter of weeks.

Expect Doyle straight in the 11 tomorrow? I think he will.

He’s obviously been at the club for a bit judging by the pics of him training.

Looking forward to him and Yates together.

Literally never said we would go up. Why are you commenting on this individual thread? Thought you're opposed to them?
I'm opposed to dictatorships and deal welchers, not giving shit to Billy Big Bollockses who go missing when their team collapses after banging on about going up all season.:lol:

Doyle is a good signing for Swindon. Assume he will start as he’s match fit and will replace Yates?

Should be a tasty game....

Makes sense to start him. Wellens knows him well and I think forwards are probably the easiest to slot straight in with minimal risk.

--------------------McCormick-----------------------

Hunt---------Baudry-----Conroy---------Fryers

-----------------Lyden-----Doughty-----------------

Isgrove------------------------------------Anderson

-----------------Doyle------Woolery----------------

Expecting an extremely tough game. Think we can kick a 1-2 win now we have another forward in. Means we don't have to tinker too much.

Hope there’s no kerfuffle about tickets today.

Seems we’ve sold all tickets given, but there’s a load more going on the expectation of POTD - which, I think, is quite limited.

What a good game. Absolutely bossed the first half and should have been ahead.

Exeter improved 2nd half and grabbed a lead. Doyle had 1 bizarrely disallowed after the keeper kicked the ball onto his arse and went in. Doyle then knocked in a poacher’s goal. Howzat Bradford fans!

Suppose 1-1 was about right in the end.

Disappointing to concede at the death but sounds like a fair result based on the commentary.
