What a good game. Absolutely bossed the first half and should have been ahead.

Exeter improved 2nd half and grabbed a lead. Doyle had 1 bizarrely disallowed after the keeper kicked the ball onto his arse and went in. Doyle then knocked in a poacher’s goal. Howzat Bradford fans!

Suppose 1-1 was about right in the end.

The fact is he wouldn’t have scored for us today, don’t wish him harm he might score 20+ this season and I still won’t be bothered he left. It was never going to work with us and he’s far to expensive a bench warmer.

For most players it’s horses for courses. Ajose played for Exeter and was the Bradford version of Doyle - ineffective totally. Yet he was brilliant for us.

Doyle actually won a couple of headers, too!

Enjoyable game.
Two good teams on the face of it, Swindon has a top quality midfield and will be sniffing around the auto’s for sure. Ajose is either seriously out of form or the formation doesn’t suit, maybe a bit of both perhaps?
Nice to have the away end full, really adds to the atmosphere.

Very pleased with a point at Exeter. As with previous games it sounded like we flew out of the blocks but couldn't press home the advantage when on top.

Typical that poor defending and a good finish saw Exeter lead but whereas we folded like a cheap suit at Colchester in the league cup, we stayed calm and a good move was finished off by Doyle on his debut.

Excellent point for us, and an excellent start to the season.

A decent game with Swindon very much on top in the first half whereas we edged the second. Our central midfield remains the problem for me and has meant service to Ajose has been almost non-existent so it was no surprise that we looked better after he'd gone off (for the third league match in a row).

Swindon did a good job on marking Williams out of the game and his opportunities to run at the defence were limited. Pretty much everything we did went through Law which is no bad thing but it does highlight how little the rest of the midfield bring to the attacking table.

A draw was a fair result.
