Be sold out this game by tonight, unlucky to the people who waited until after work as they now have the indignity of sitting in the pop stand

Halifax. V Kidderminster has been selected for “extended highlights” and moved to 4pm on the Sunday.

I know who you are, so thanks for making me laugh out loud. :ds:
I very much doubt you do. There are no more than 20 Halifax fans that know me to talk to and (unless you have a complete split personality) you are not one of them.

Would happily trade 'Stuckport' for 'Cockport' right now.

Extra cash is helpful for both and for me personally it's better as the 4th was going to be a rush but can imagine it's going to stop some of your fans coming down.
Sure it will suit some fans better than others as is normal for games rescheduled for tv.

I'd have thought it was obvious I have a split personality, if I was like this in real life dontcha think I'd have been stabbed by now. :ffs: :ds:

Sorry for the lack of Wigan content in this post, but more than 8️,0️0️0️ tickets sold for our replay against Notlob. Could be heading for a sell-out, which I would never have expected given it's on terrestrial telly too.
Now officially sold out

Didn't expect that to happen

What’s the official capacity at Edgeley these days?
I don't know what it is exactly because all the seats have just been replaced and there's probably been some reconfiguration, but it's somewhere between 10,500 and 10,800. Always knock a few hundred off for segregation.

Replays this week..

Tuesday:
Altrincham vs Gateshead
Notts County vs Rochdale
Solihull Moors vs Wigan Athletic

Wednesday:
Stockport County vs Bolton Wanderers

Decent chance for us to get through, our home record is good and we’re actually slight favourites with the bookies despite playing a team a league higher. That said, we have a big week coming up with two tough away trips, so wouldn’t be surprised to see us make a few changes for this.

Getting through is probably worth 100k all told with the second round game on tv, so definitely worth it.

Sell out for us plus our first live appearence on the Beeb since god knows when.

Worthwhile tie overall, think Bolton may step it up for this one and see us off though.

Solihull Moors into extra time against Wigan which is not bad news from our perspective for Saturday's game.

Prime 2009 Barca....sorry Notts County, lose to Rochdale.

Nice game of football that, both teams completely committed to playing it out from the back made it a good watch. 1-1 would’ve been about right, but with 20 mins or so to go it was obvious no one particularly wanted extra time so it got really open, both teams missed loads of chances until they scored right at the end with, to be fair, a brilliant header.

Less fussed with Plymouth winning their replay, much less of an attractive tie than Wednesday would’ve been.

Hearts Derby in the 2nd round.
Not sure how that’s been allowed to happen, Hearts are in the Scottish Prem and Derby are in the Championship so neither of them should really be in the FA Cup round 2.

Excellent second half display, fairly undeserved win for Dale in the end, but that’s football. As Jacob says, not quite as gutting that we wouldn’t have been facing Wednesday anyway, but the £60k TV fee would have been nice. On the other hand, a weekend off for the squad to rest and recover.

Quite the plethora of lower league scouts there tonight, Nicky Cowley, Rotherham’s head of recruitment, and Lincoln’s ‘head of football’, whatever that means

All the teams that have been linked with Ruben. Not sure any of them are paying what we’d want, though.

Gutted. We battled and defended well and in the end concede from a set piece which I thought was a soft foul. James Ball had two chances at the end which he should have done better with. Would have fancied us against Colchester it we had got through. Good to get a record 3,700 crowd in.

Hate to break it to you, but we're a massive club with international players, two of whom were busy shutting out Portugal last night, so that one's been postponed.
You're a League 1 club at best. Everything beyond that was gained by unearned artificial means, no different to an athlete who takes steroids to gain an edge. I have spoken. :ds:

Notts and Stockport shifting 20,000 tickets for their respective games this week, you love to see it.

Reinstate these two clubs to the Football League immediately. Preferably at the expense of two tinpotters who gained their place through bankrolling, ie Wigan and Harrogate.
To be fair, the original Wigan earned their place in the Football League, albeit under the old system. They were very well supported in non league and beat several League sides in the Cup. Including us, then again, everybody did that. :ffs:
