Stoke v Derby the Saturday so with Barnsley down that’s almost certainly a Friday or Sunday tie as well!

There will probably only be 3000 at the vale game with about 300 Barnsley fans so won't need more than the standard 4 police on duty so I think it will be fine to be a Saturday game.

The only positive I can take from it is that there are no replays.

I think it's something like the third time they've been drawn against each other since Wimbledon were promoted to the EFL.

Something stinks about that to me.

More than that. Twice in the FA Cup now and twice in the League Cup. We also played in the EFL Trophy if that counts. There was actually also another time we got drawn against each other too in the FA Cup but we lost our cup replay against Stevenage.

We have won the previous three proper (EFL Trophy aside) cup games…on the two occasions at Stadium:MK, a defender of ours scored with their heel oddly, Jon Otsemobor in the last minute in a 2-1 FA Cup win (our first meeting) and Kyle McFadzean in a 3-1 League Cup win.

Blackpool at home for us, will be nice to see Steve Bruce at Priestfield again but other than that it's not the best or most interesting draw, and I'm sure that's a feeling reciprocated from Blackpool. Least it's at home.

One of those this though isn't it where we all want our cake and eat it.

We're at home to Forest Green and I'm glad there's no replays. Even if we fuck up, get it done on the day instead of trekking down there on a Tuesday night if we draw.

Replays only perk our attention when it's third round against a big boy and suits us.
