Looking forward to the world being treated to the Cowleys' now patented meticulous preparation and likeable modesty, and our 9000 wonderful fans, of course.

I hope we demonstrate a performance level every club in this division can strive to achieve, and be proud of.

Excellent seeing that god awful new crest on display everywhere today!

Best of luck Lincoln, something to savour regardless

All the best to Lincoln this evening. Had there still been replays, could see this going for a re-match at Sincil Bank, but much harder to beat Arsenal over 120 minutes. Whatever happens, they've already done non-league football proud by their performances to make the quarter finals.

First use of the word meticulous.

Arsenal are tragic, Lincoln can actually win this. It's comfortable and if anything they should be ahead too.

Good performance first half, but we'd never have been able to do that for 90 minutes. Ended up being a little bit of damage limitation in the end, but I'd much rather have lost by that score line, being brave in our normal 4-4-2 than opt to change how we play.

Woke up today incredibly proud of my football club - the 9000 fans never stopped singing from first minute to ninetieth, our players fought like absolute lions in that first half against Arsenal's full strength side. What an experience.

Forever thankful for the memories Danny and Nicky have given me with this run. Nobody can argue that we wouldn't deserve it if we finally end our spell in this division next month, and have the FA Trophy to go beside it, we've shown insane levels of heart all season.

Tiring day out yesterday and in the end Arsenal could have scored 10 but whatever, we can be proud of the best cup run we have ever had. The money it's earned us should put us in good shape, hopefully we have enough quality in the squad now to see us over the line. After the trophy games this week it will be nice to focus entirely on the league as that's the real priority. 12 cup finals to go, it's going to be tense.

The gooners side that played against us including subs that came on had over 600 international caps, two of those are World Cup winners and a Copa America winner!
A very proud Imp yesterday, now let's win the league and trophy!

Odd game really. If we had kept it 0-0 until half time then who knows what would have happened - their fans would have booed them off and no doubt the anti-Wenger chants would have started. But Walcott's deflected effort killed the game completely and the second half was just ridiculous. Arsenal were incredibly wasteful and should have racked up 9 or 10. Slightly alarming how soon the likes of Wood and Arnold tired so fingers crossed they'll be okay.

But yeah, what a day. I walked 19km in total and I have blisters all over my feet. My hands are ridiculously sore as well and I lost my voice after about 30 minutes. All worth it just to experience 9,000 Lincoln fans doing the Dambusters at the Emirates. I had a tear in my eye when the fans and DC came over at the end but just about managed to hold it together. Ridiculous what this sport can do to you.

Also shows today with the performance of Spurs against Millwall winning 6-0, the huge gulf in class. One goal difference but 'no-one likes us' are doing well two leagues above us so puts our performance into perspective.

Plus the video doing the rounds of a Millwall fan punching a Spurs fan, and the FA investigating racist chants aimed at Son Heung-Min. Contrast that to the plaudits Lincoln supporters have been getting...

Didn't Lincoln fans force a station to be closed on Saturday after setting off smoke bombs?

True, I did see something about that. However they often close Covent Garden station on a Saturday afternoon because it's too busy. At best it's Exit Only between certain hours. Given the numbers of fans I saw in photos it wouldn't surprise me if it was just due to numbers rather than the smoke bomb(s).

We even cleaned up the dressing room, as we apparently do after every game.

Yep, they close it at certain times. A Lincoln fan setting a smoke bomb off made a story out of something that happens every week anyway!

Enjoyed the unnecessary use of captials on CLEANED UP.

Don't most non league teams do that anyway? Or this another example of the Cowleys boiz meticulousness and a way of demonstrating the importance of the honest values and ethics they instill in the gwoop?

Yeah, it's just a standard thing done in NL and we did the same in L2.

Obviously an unusual thing up in the PL!
