Glamour tie at home to Wycombe if we can beat Preston on Tuesday. Should be seen as a good chance to make the last 16 of the cup but in reality we will crash out 4-0 to Preston

Nice and stress free weekend. Didn't watch much over the course of the 3 days. Not really paid attention to the next round due to the whole competition being butchered.

Seems like most of you guys gave it a right go whereas we bent over (albeit conceded a 2nd goal that was as offside as you can get)

They closed this forum down for the weekend seeing as we weren't playing. We didn't ask them to but that's just how big we are these days.

Birmingham v Newcastle will probably get on TV.

Well done to Exeter too.

We managed to concede a ridiculously soft goal after 30 seconds, then concede a bit of a worldie late on.

Birmingham had tonnes of possession as you'd expect in the first half but we had more in the second half, which seems a bit weird. Missed one or two half decent chances but at least we scored for the first time in four games albeit a penalty.

O'Connor's shoulder popped out and back in again for the third game in a row, so that doesn't bode well.

Good to see sides get good ties / exeter, Birmingham and Orient (if they get through) all got brilliant ties.

Once again we missed out, though Fulham isn’t to be sniffed at (if we get through) there’s no reason why it would be on tv.

Not that it mattered, but yet another superb ref/lino calling this as onside

Then when Ipswich blasted a shot from 10 yards away and it bounced off Wards knee onto his hands that were by his chest, resulting in a penalty - you have to say that refereeing is just f*cking shot in this country

Fulham are a quality established PL team these days, granted they will never be a properly big PL club but it's still a good draw for a L1 team at home and I reckon you'll give them a proper game.

Could have been loads worse than that.

And how did the assistant miss that.

Definitely can be worse, but I reckon they’ll breeze past us and far as Premier League clubs they are right near the bottom of who you would want. It’s not like we will even get a bigger crowd than usual, and it won’t be on TV so financially it’s potentiallydisappointing.

Anyway I’m not particularly confident we will get past Wigan tomorrow tbf.

Oh aye, it could’ve been worse. no doubting that, just when you see the others get “big ties” it’s frustrating that once more we weren’t the ones that got it - it’s more on the back of us never really getting lucky tie wise really.

Of course we’ve got to get there first

Shit draw. Forest is such a nothing tie. They will probably smash us 0-5, we get bugger all revenue and there isn't even any glamour. Who wants to watch Gibbs-White scoring a hattrick against lower league fodder? zzzzZZZZzzzZZZZZzzzZzzZzz

I had a 100% attendance record at that.
(Away to Aldershot - we lost)
Same here, we had York City away, I think the away following was 33, and we lost on penalties. It was our third visit to York in just a few weeks has we had already played them in League and FA Cup.

Fulham at home is a great tie. Try getting another League one side who you played a few weeks ago

Right let’s not call it great, nobody is hoping for Fulham in the FA Cup.

If we don’t win tonight I won’t be devastated, already got one eye on Saturday.

Blues 2-1 Imps

I have been warmer at the football but rarely colder, was a decent game definitely second half Lincoln showed more intensity but we managed to see the game out after making changes to the starting lineup.

Newcastle at home, will be a real test to see actually how good we are, do not expect to win the game, just hope we give them a game, i think we will but their quality should see them through. Expecting a full house also expecting my club to rinse us ticket price wise, but it is what it is, supply and demand.

Does your club really need the money.
Begrudgingly paying £30 for Saturday, suspect it will be the first and last time I go there.

They're the 8th highest side left in the cup. Obviously not a dream draw away to the 'big 6' but how often are Mansfield playing top half Prem sides

That’s the only thing going for it isn’t it, how high Fulham are in the table and obviously being a genuinely good Premier league side.

What fans in this division really want is the potential for a big gate, or TV / both.

Nobody is suggesting it’s terrible because you could end up with a long slog to Exeter away or another fellow L1 side although at least we could go on a weekend then*

*probably be moved to a Thursday night to satisfy the great FA Cup interest in Belize and El Salvador.

Mansfield v Wigan was moved for tele wasn't it over the weekend, does it mean that TV will still get the tie even though the date got moved? Obviously speaking for the generic Fernando González's of El Salvador and such like :D

I cannot help but think Saturday would’ve been our chance to win this tie, now with the winners getting a crack at Man City I can see Derby playing their strongest side - which should really beat ours as we’re still very short up front. Boo.
I see that Derby are also playing Woking tonight though..

I presume that will be an under 21s side meaning you're more likely to be facing the first team, bit who knows.

1-1 st half time. Fair reflection; Derby have edged it on general performance and we’ve edged it on chances. All to play for in the battle of Who Wants To Lose 6-0 To Man City’s Reserves.
