Three EFL2 teams minimum will be in 3rd round draw plus perhaps 4 others.
Good luck to all our teams. :2thumb:

Not really anything good there is there, most Non League sides are away, Kettering v Doncaster a shoe in for TV and Wealdstone v Wycombe but otherwise not sure what you do.

Expect Birmingham to be on as the biggest crowd puller, Solihull v Bromley maybe, repeat of the Play Off final.

If they know much about football and teams in this level Peterborough v Notts County should be a cracker, some good football and goals likely.

Only other one I can see is Walsall v Charlton maybe.

Morecambe away - very winnable, if it wasn’t for the Derek Adam factor.

I’m sure Morecambe are thinking the same thing. Nevertheless, it’s a fantastic opportunity for both clubs to progress, but it’ll hurt if they beat us again.

Gary Caldwell managing Exeter makes our tie a little spicier than it would have been as everything else about that draw stinks.

Peterborough away. Not a kind draw but not far to travel I suppose. I'd be very surprised if we're in the hat for the third round.

I think we play Accrington away in the league 2 weeks before the cup tie. Exciting.

Yeah not great one, can't make it either so really has zero appeal to me. It is winnable and i think we ow Caldwell one mind

Not a great draw but an easy one to get to and you never know, they seem a bit off it this season.

At home to Gainsborough Trinity. It will be shown on BBC 2 Friday 29th at 7:45. I hate this type of tie, should be an easy win but has cock up written all over it.

Tough draw for us all really. Away, miles from home, team from league above, not going to be a money spinner

That said, it’s a Gary Caldwell side who are always going to be beatable. We’ve had some great fun in recent years with interesting 3rd round ties so hope we can find a way to get there again

Looking forward to our game actually, league has become a bit of a grind of ‘break down this low block with all of your creative players out’ in the last few weeks. We’re underdogs obviously, but this should at least be something a bit different and more entertaining.

Well I’m expecting us to get tonked live on the BBC

It’s not very fun. They’ve also won 3 and drawn the other since doing us over, and all the chat on our local radio after Saturdays game was how they’d rested their better players for Sunday and still won relatively comfortably. The noises from their end makes it feel like they’re almost expecting a win so I’m sure there’ll be a fast start from the Poppies.

Fancy us this weekend as I can see both us & Exeter making a number of changes with big games coming up on the Tuesday, but I fancy our squad depth over there’s.

Reckon we’ll look like this, with 6 changes from Saturdays line up:

Boot
Tanton Williams Grimes Gordon
Naylor Banks
Jacobs Dobra Colclough
Grigg

Thompson (GK)
Daley-Campbell
Horton
Araujo
Oldaker
Jones
Berry
Mandeville
Madden

Be nice to get in to the 3rd round for the 4th season on the trot, but even sweeter if we can do it whilst beating Caldwell en route.
