We've not had a big one away in years but I do agree. You get smashed let's be honest it can't be that fun. Just have to remind yourself it is great for your club to get half that gate money.

And I bet you're surrounded by a load of JCL's. I didn't even enjoy going to Wembley and that was to win a League Two play off final because I was surrounded by a load of day trippers.

Someone was saying I bet all the Chesterfield fans are buzzing all having a pint round Stamford Bridge etc. They can do that when they play Wealdstone or the like if it's that exciting and hop on the tube. The reality is it'll be rammed to fuck and majorly expensive.

Even when you factor in the quality of opposition they were up against, there really was some awful defending from Chesterfield there. Lots of simple things executed terribly and some uncharacteristic errors from Loach.

Yea the occasion got to them I think first half, Chelsea played a strong side and made the pitch look massive but we didn't get tight enough, and made silly errors. It's hard though when like Hudson Odoi and Ziyech between them earn more than our entire squad, and theirs cost hundreds of millions to assemble. Fuck it though it was a great day, the fans were brilliant throughout, everyone's enjoyed it despite the result. Time to get back to the real shit now and dislodge that silly tinpot mob off the top of the table.
