Home to Blackburn is good enough for me, a winnable game too.

Man Utd away no problem, actually kept a clean sheet on Saturday so they have no chance.

Has Firthy been secretly appointed as the new Bradford City chairman?

JULIAN Rhodes predicts there could be more City fans than Bury at their FA Cup third-round clash next month.

Phil Parkinson, who launched his playing career at Gigg Lane, is determined to put a positive slant on a tie that has left many supporters underwhelmed.

And joint-chairman Rhodes anticipates a bumper travelling turn-out for an all-League One Roses battle that should offer a realistic chance of making the last 32.

Rhodes said: “It’s a local derby and we will probably have more supporters there than them.

“I expect our fans will make it like a home game for the team, which means we’ve got a great chance of progressing.

Surprised at that - it's usually Lawn who comes up with anything like this, with Rhodes tending to stay quiet. Either way, what a pointless soundbite.

I know Firthy has suggested 3k will travel but I'd be a bit surprised if we bring that many.

Bradford have asked for 5k tickets. They won't get that tho.

They will outnumber us depending on price tickets. Anything over £15 and I don't think they'll be more than 2,500-3,000 home fans

We had just under 4k a few years back. Both ends and the bit on the side and 1 of the ends could of got another 5/600 in too at least so over 4k available however i very much doubt they will need that many.

Previous round cup tickets give an upper hand to those purchasing future tickets, so a local, winnable derby, more attractive than rounds 1&2 vs non league, all add up to us being close to selling out here, we have a thing for cup games too

It will be predictable but pathetic if the Bury public fail to come out and support the team for this game. Day and co should be making this 15 quid for adults with it being just after Christmas and then promoting the game to high heaven. Personally I would give Bradford the cemmy end and the end block of the main stand (so around 3000 tickets). If they sell them quickly then give them the MRE as well.

3400 Blades that day, cemmy end and main stand blocks were rammed, MRE was only half full at the most.

3700 odd it was. Yes like i said not sure how many the end that wasnt full holds but at least another 600 odd i would of guessed.

3738 to be precise in a crowd of 6790

The attendance must have been bigger than I remembered (no thanks to the pathetic Bury public).
Back on topic, I hope Bradford bring a strong following but the board need to be careful how they play this one. If they make it to expensive or give Bradford the south stand (and maybe the MRE) then it will make it seem less like a home game for us and give them something of an advantage. After all that talk about our support on Sunday at spotland it would be a bit stupid to just hand the Bradford the same advantage.
15 quid for adults, 10 for students, maybe some cheap family tickets and what not and 3000 away tickets for the cemmy end with the end blocks of the main stand given to Bradford. That could comfortably get us a bumper crowd, a good cup atmosphere and not the humiliation of being outnumbered for a 3rd round cup game.

£40-£55 for Sheffield United fans at Old Trafford. What a sham that is. You'd expect to be pay that for a Premier League fixture.

Just after Christmas and a packed fixture list as well, they really have no care for fans these days and that is not just aimed at Man Utd !

Same with crap like changing home and away kits every year, while ever fans keep buying they will keep on doing it.
You don't seem to have a problem with your team's new home kit

That is because it is first one I have bought in years because it represents part of our early history and is completely different from same old designs every year.
