We like Pompey and we like Pompey fans. Our two clubs have helped each other out tons over the years and long may that continue. I trust Hollands, Tubbs and Fogden do ok for you.
Saints can belittle us, give it the bigg'n and accuse us of creating a rivalry. But Pompey? Give it a rest.
Good luck in your replay.

Fogden plays for us now. He's injured.

The only downside of (potentially) playing Everton is I can't see them allowing us to play their loanee Liam Walsh, who I thought was excellent on his debut for us on Sunday.

I expect our 4th round game to be on TV regardless of whether it's us or Carlisle.

We just have to do what we did last year when we beat Accrington in a replay knowing a win would give us a home tie against Man Utd.

I'm very confident of a win in the replay.

we're a side who has very good odds (based on the season) of scoring 2 or maybe 3 goals away from home.

gives us a good chance

It's ok for League 2. Not as uneven as Blackpool's although when the wind's up it can whip over the top of the open away terrace.
I thought it looked good when i was there for our league game in November.

Man Utd is actually by far the most appealing match, do you not see that?

But being honest you are against Blackburn who are nothing special and they are a lesser club than Swansea.

It's not honestly. As well as you played on Sunday (which was very well), playing against this current Blackburn team wouldnt have the cup upset feel to it.

I did. It's more Blackburn Rovers that would put me off watching it
Just a little history lesson. In 1964 we beat Blackburn in the 5th round (I was there) and became the first ever 4th division club to reach the 6th round where we lost to Preston (who I believe went on to win it). I dream we are going to match that this year and reach the 6th round..

And there is an interesting little aside to this, the matches that would have to be re-arranged if that did happen.

4th round day 30th Jan - our home match v Norrthampton is already re-arranged.
5th round day 20th Feb - our home match v Accy would have to be re-arranged. I wonder how may Tuesdays they have left to fill?
6th round day 12th Mar - our home match v Hartlepool wiould have to be re-arranged. Even more difficult than accy.

Ah - the joys of day dreaming.

Just don't draw with whoever you play or I think the replay will be when we play you and I've just sorted the day off at work today!

You are indeed correct - it would have to be.

And there is a further complication for us. We are still in the JPT. - 1st leg of the area final live on Sky 1 on Thursday. Should we progress to the JPT final that is played on Sunday 4th April at Wembley. Our 3rd April home match v Daggers would have to be re-arranged.

Whatever one may think of Blackburn, the fact is that it's still a L2 side vs a Championship side match, therefore it would be an upset if Oxford go through. Which reminds me of how clueless some fans* are when they said it wouldn't be a surprise if Wycombe dumped Villa out of the cup.

*on Twitter/facebook etc, not on this site afaik.

I calculate that we would beat Newport 5-0 and Blackburn 1-0. The average of these is of course a 3-0 victory against Newburn, and that is my formal prediction.

Us or Carlisle on Sunday 31/01 at 1.30pm. That'll be the wife's birthday then, when we're at Centerparcs.

"I'll take you for a birthday drink love, the Sports Bar is probably the best place. Have whatever you want, i'll see you in about 90 minutes..."

Yeovil/Carlisle and Exeter will be on BT (Saturday lunchtime and evening respectively)
We'll be on BBC 1, Sunday 4pm should we get through.

Our game 'surprisingly' in my view being on Tv is a great bonus and makes next weeks replay extremely interesting, I wish I had the time and money to go.

you in easier words shove £200,000 on a table infront of both clubs and tell them your both only 90 minutes away from grabbing it.

makes what could be a draw bland match an extremely passion filled, electric game......a win here and suddenly either manager could be allowed 2-3 players to turn their seasons.....defeat and it may mean that either side may fail in their objective and look at just that key player or two missing to achieve it.

Playing our No1 keeper for this replay is a must, Hanford is simply not good enough for League Two level so why he remains part of our squad and picked for crucial cup games is beyond a joke. I also think that Sweeney should be brought back in so Grainger can go left back and Kennedy should replace Dicker.

Now that we know the outcome of the draw our players should be well up for the replay and more focused unlike the first match.

i'd agree with them changes, although I wish we'd sign a decent left winger

I am also abit 50/50 on Miller for Atkinson, I like Atkinson but something doesn't work at right back.

I would have been more surprised if the Everton game hadn't been picked for tv. League 2 at home to Prem, there's a background story for the media to work on whether it's Carlisle or Yeovil.
