Someone who didn't want to see Bradford hoof it up to 2 big lumps for 90 minutes on a ploughed field.

Actually, it's probably working better on 5Live with the commentator who is in complete amazement of this lower league shtick.

"They've got a floodlight pylon and everything, backwards Northern freaks."

That pitch is disgraceful. I'm not in the business of moaning about pitches cos before this year ours has always been terrible this time of year but at least we had legitimate reasons, how the fuck have Bradford ended up with that thing?! It's embarrassing. Handy how they have two big fuck off strikers though int it.

Bradford and Sheffield utd have definitely been a good advert for league one this season! No doubt gus will blame the pitch afterwards.

Aye, no-one wants to go there, reckon they'll get done in an away tie with pretty much anyone left though, Chelsea fluke aside. People will call this a giant-killing but Sunderland have turned up moaning about the pitch with a half-arsed side, they weren't bothered about it.

You sound a bit jealous, RB?

You can't take any credit away from Bradford at all. Regardless of the pitch or the way they play, to knock out 2 Premier League sides is a massive achievement and to get to this stage in the competition is a massive achievement for a League One side.

Nope, just talking about it as a game, I've never really understood FA Cup run romance other than the financial benefits that come with it. Good achievement though to beat some good sides, not going to dispute that. Fair play to them.

From a general standpoint their pitch is a disgrace though, same as the Blackpool situation, something's got to be done even if it's the football league giving them a nudge and a symbolic 'oi, try and do a bit better please'.

Yer, another fluke just like when we beat arsenal at home and villa over two legs. Grasping at straws comes to mind banging on about the pitch which again played fine.

You do realise you are in League One and not the Champions League?

A cup upset is a fluke by definition. 9/10 Chelsea would splatter you and put your team in the Premiership and you'd get relegated with a record low points total. It was a fluke, as all giant-killings are. Not sure how a League 1 fan could possibly get upset with a win over Chelsea being called a fluke unless you've got some sort of complex.

We played better footy than them today to be fair so it's not unplayable.

The pitch has a load of old building work underneath it so it doesn't drain. It's not like the groundsman's pointing at it and laughing at it between games. Save playing somewhere else or having a mini February heatwave then it will just stay knackered until it gets better. Parkinson himself has moaned about it a few weeks ago well before we had to play precious Premier League prima donnas on it so it's inaccurate to say we want it like that.

Almost hope we are away next round as it's fcking boring now.

Hope they get another home tie in the next around- fancy hem to win it as doubt a top team will like the pitch.

Well done bantams....

As a side note.... Mk Dons fans ..... The assault on the Sunderland player is what you call a clear cut penalty..... Not a minor ball to hand ( ayling )

Not many "top teams" left in to draw. Hopefully Liverpool draw Arsenal draw each other to give some of the smaller sides a chance to get to Wembley and get in Europe.

You have to win it now to get in europe not just lose in the final[/QUOTE]

That's the second Premier League team that couldn't handle our high tempo, talented squad. It has absolutely nothing to do with how bad the pitch is - Chelsea's was a bowling green, and at times, we played them off the park. I don't really get the 'fluke' addition, either. We've deservedly got ourselves a bit of a reputation for knocking out big clubs in cup competitions - how many times do we have to dislodge a giant before we're deemed a half decent outfit - and not just a run of the mill lower league side that has managed to creep through via scoring a last minute winner off Jon Steads left arse cheek?

The lads were immense again yesterday - and the fans, well, MINT!

"Are you watching BBC"?

I think most are hoping for a Bradford vs Man Utd final at Wembley. The plucky underdogs who haven't had the most inspiring league season but are showing the odd glimpse of past glories, with their fans dreaming again of their 1999 success there's a chance of a unlikely return to European football.... up against the might of Bradford City.
