Quite impressed by Shrewsbury even though I was only half watching. Kept possssion well but actually looked a bit poor on the break, underhitting passes and playing them too soon. Hurst has done a great job with those players and they are a decent watch. When he fails in the Championship I'd welcome him at Oxford.

I said this in November on another thread:
"Like Bambi on ice and all arms and legs, he was one of our own, I was surprised when Newcastle took him from us for a fee (£500k?). He's played 17 minutes for Newcastle and 12 of those was against us in the League Cup.
Good luck to him but I don't see much, if any, improvement from when he was with us."

Not content with losing to all the teams at the bottom of our league we have started losing to the teams at the bottom of other leagues, lovely stuff.

Be nice if we signed some players especially when we can't even fill the bench. Instead of bidding for players who we can't pay because it makes the chairman look good.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for 20 years including when we used to overcharge for them. I’ve also seen us spend absolutely fuck all for the past 15 years. Our one transfer fee paid was £7.5k for James fooking Hanson. None of this bothered me.

It bothers me that the chairman talks about investment but then scrimps and saves while we lose out on players, players go to other clubs on twice the wages we were paying them, and we make pointless bids for players we can’t afford and don’t really need. It’s a load of bollocks.
