Rochdale have been absolutely streets ahead of the shit we serve up each week. No wonder we don't win any games.

Do they always give away fans the side stand?

Brilliant game and well deserved replay. Hopefully you come to the DW in six days with the same attitude we’ve had for our last two games. Amazing how players suddenly can’t be arsed when they have a huge once in a career game on the horizon.

Looks like Dale might finish their season a day before the new one starts at this rate.

Deserved result though.

Thanks for the good wishes.

We'll certainly need a full squad playing two games per week for the rest of the season...

Missed the game last night but fantastic to see you got the draw in the end. Congrats!

Just watched the highlights this morning, couldn't help but pause at this moment:

Seen it a few times and from other angles. It was a definite penalty, McGahey's knee caught Dele's thigh. The upward somersault with triple pike and cheesy chips which followed was a bit OTT, but didn't alter the facts - correctly awarded pen.

Not sure that we shouldn't have had one in the first half, though, when Toby Aldereiwald slipped and landed arm first on the ball - certainly not deliberate handball, but did stop Andy Cannon playing it.

Cheers Rochdale, that's an extra stewarding shift for me next week. Glad it's not on Tuesday as I'd be at Kingsmeadow.

We were punished for this against Bradford funnily enough. IMO it’s a pure accident and no penalty

Thought that you should have had one when their defender went through the back of Henderson...

Well done Wigan, and well done Cookie.

The scummers in the quarter finals, so you’ll have the whole of Portsmouth behind you.

Huge game. Maybe you’ll be able to sell out that one ;)

Well done Wigan, good news for football nothing worse than one team winning everything.

Gary Lineker calling them Wigan Town though, ffs:ffs:.

That’s up there as one of the greatest shocks in Cup history.

Fair fucks Wigan.

What a result, unbelievable defending from Wigan throughout the game. It's results like this that give you the hope your club can win it, really hope we get past Swansea in the replay because the big favourites are now out, just need a Rochdale win at Wembley!

Fantastic result for Wigan, did incredibly well and good luck to them in the QFs.

Let's be clear though. They're a Championship team-in-waiting (given the quality of most of their squad) who played against 10 men, at home, for 45 mins.

Man City are that good that you wouldn't have known they were a man down, but can't agree it's one of the greatest shocks ever.

Well done both Dale and Wigan.
Why were the first dozen seats at the DW covered last night in the home areas?
Was it to prevent fans access to the pitch?

They’re not a ‘Chanpionship team-in-waiting’ evidenced by their last showing in that division.

They’re a top end league one side who may be promoted to the Championship and even that isn’t guaranteed at the moment.

Given the gap between clubs and divisions in this modern game this is comfortably one of the biggest cup upsets. We’re talking about a side being touted as the best in Europe and who are favourites to win the Champions League.

If it was Barcelona Wigan had beaten last night you would probably be saying it is one of footballs greatest shocks.
